Tip #2 - Zoho ShowTime: Making Modern Meetings A Reality.

The business world has witnessed a transformation. Meetings are no longer limited to the bounds of an office. These days formal business meetings are convened in unconventional places like restaurants etc. In fact, coffee shops have become unofficial offices for modern workers. The day-to-day routine of today's professionals include status checks and team discussions that require presentations. The demand is to make presentation delivery possible anywhere, anytime. Zoho ShowTime is designed to do exactly that.

Present without a projector:

Jack, a ShowTime user, makes business presentations interesting even without a projector.  He uses the ShowTime Presenter app on his smartphone. Once he is ready to present, he requests his team members to download the 'ShowTime Viewer app' on their devices. The audience can view the slides on their smartphones through the 'audience key' shared by him. All this is done without a projector. The presenter's screen works in sync with the audiences' screen.

Let me tell you how.

Follow the below steps to start presenting without a projector.

  • Download the 'ShowTime Presenter app' and open it.
  • Once your team assembles for the meeting, request them to download the 'ShowTime Viewer app' on their mobile devices.
  • Now open the 'ShowTime Presenter app' on your smartphone, choose the presentation you would like to present and click > Present Now.
  • Set an audience key > Next > Share your location if you want to, else press > Skip.

NOTE:  To project the presentation on a computer or on a projector screen, press > Event Pin or QR Code. To present without a projector, click "Skip" you will be prompted with a pop-up to 'Proceed without a projector'? Click OK to continue presenting without using a projector.

ShowTime's 'Project Without a Projector' mode can change the way meetings are conducted. Try it and tell us what you think.

Even today, in many senates and parliaments 'yays' and 'nays' are registered verbally. But, how can one genuinely measure audience response? The solution was in the form of an Audience Response System (ARS). An ARS is a tool that is used to connect speakers to their participants. This helped in measuring audience
