Tip #32: Deleting a portal


We are back again with a new tip. As part of our GDPR compliance, we have included a delete portal option so that you can delete your portal anytime you wish to discontinue Zoho Projects.
 
There are certain conditions to follow which need to be satisfied before you can delete a portal. This option is available only when,
  • You have removed/deactivated all the users in the portal. You can delete a portal user in the portal settings. 
  • Your subscription has been downgraded to the Free plan. Learn more on how to downgrade your plan.
  • You have disabled all the integrations. 
Make sure you take a back up of your portal data before deleting the portal. You can access the data backup option in the Data administration settings.
 
After you are done with the above steps, you can delete your portal by entering the exact company name which you have provided while creating the portal. Only then the delete portal option will be enabled and you can delete the portal. It will take upto 90 days to delete all your portal data from our servers, meanwhile you cannot access or retrieve the portal data.
