Tip #4 - Save Your Custom View And Stay Cool!

Why custom view for bugs?

Basically, a customized solution will help in solving your problems at ease. Custom view in bugs can help you to group the requisite bug details in your project with a common name.  A custom view can further be customized using the filter option. 

What is the benefit of filter option in custom view?

-When you need to find the bugs assigned to any specific user in the project, you can do a refined search using the filter option.

-You can filter the bugs in the respective custom view and can save the filtered bug details to your custom view.

How to save my filtered bug details to custom view?

Zoho Projects, has launched a new feature that can make your process even easier by introducing Save and Save As functionality to the custom view.  Learn more about save and save as in your custom view.


  

Why to enable two save options, when both are doing the same task?


To make the feature more feasible and facile, there are two features enabled for saving your custom view. If there is any crisis in the nick of time, the saved bug details can be retrieved in the future successfully.


Save in custom view - Your filter details are saved to the existing custom view.

Save As in custom view - Your filter details are saved as a new custom view.

Can only Portal Owner and Admin access this feature?

No. This new feature is not restricted to only the portal owner or the admin, all the users in the project can access the save and save as option in custom view.
