Tip of the week #3 - Prioritize threads using the snooze option



Emails can be overwhelming when not prioritized properly. Put them in the order in which they should be dealt with using Zoho TeamInbox' snooze option. This will also let you achieve Inbox Zero without hassle. Here's how snoozing threads can help you prioritize threads and keep your inbox clean.

Note that snoozing threads is an action at the individual level. Threads you snooze will not be snoozed for your team.
 

Remove threads of lesser priority off your inbox

Updating your inbox everyday is the key to keeping it clean. You might receive multiple emails that don't need your immediate attention. Clear them off from your space by snoozing them till when they need to be responded to. This will help you keep your inbox space only for threads that are important right now. Snooze threads in the order of their priority, so when the snooze time of the threads are up they will appear back in your inbox, and you can deal with them one after the other.



Get reminded of the threads you should reply to

Use the snooze option also as reminders. Let's say you receive an enquiry, but before making a proper response to it you need a few supporting documents from another team. You are asked to wait for two more days for the documents. Now you can quickly inform your sender about the time when you can give them your answer, and snooze the thread until then. You, therefore, will not have to worry about forgetting to make the reply at the right time.
 

Set your snooze time preferences 

Pre-set custom time periods that you might repeatedly use for snoozing threads. Save that one extra step of choosing the time.
