As email marketers, we make multiple decisions on a day-to-day basis that shape our entire marketing results. And one of such crucial decisions is "Whether my campaign is all ready to reach its respective audience?"

And the best way to make an informed decision about this is to send a test campaign to your email seed list before sending it out to your prospective audience.

What is an email seed list?


It is always recommended to test and analyze the performance of an email campaign. And the most widely popular way of testing the campaign is to send out a test campaign before launching the main campaign. 

 

In such a case, you need a collection of test email addresses to send out test campaigns, right?

That is when the email seed list comes into the picture. An email marketer creates an email list that has email addresses that are addressed to themselves or of their colleagues, also known as test addresses.

How to build an email seed list?


Here are few steps to build your email seed list with Zoho Campaigns


Step 1  - After creating your email campaign, click on "Send test email"

 





Step 2 - Click on "Add" to enter your test email address. To test effectively, add email addresses from different ISPs. 




Step 3 - After adding and selecting respective test email addresses, you can click on "Send Test Email" to successfully send your test campaign.
