Tip of the Week - Cross-Functional Analytics with Popular Business Applications/Data Sources
Do you have data across multiple data sources? Thinking of ways to combine and analyze this data in a holistic view? Why ponder so much when there is Zoho Analytics.
With Zoho Analytics, you can integrate and perform cross-functional analytics with most business applications/data sources that Zoho Analytics integrates with. Zoho Analytics also supports automatic data blending for the connectors as well.
Cross-functional analytics can be done in three simple steps:
- Set up the first business application/data source connector in a Zoho Analytics workspace.
- Connect the second (and third, and fourth...) business application/data source to the same workspace.
- Create the required reports/dashboards.
Now, say you have already connected the business apps to separate workspaces. Also, you have reports and dashboards created in these workspaces and want those to be copied. No worries. We have a solution for that as well.
Let's say you have connected Zoho CRM and Zoho Books to separate workspaces. And you have created reports and dashboards over them, but you want to retain them, after merging these two workspaces. Simply follow the below steps:
- Create a duplicate copy of the Zoho Books workspace.
- Delete the original Zoho Books workspace.
- Set up the integration of Zoho Books in Zoho CRM workspace.
- Use Copy Reports API and copy the reports (those created by you) from the duplicated workspace to the newly created Zoho CRM+Books workspace.
- Delete the duplicate workspace.
Try the above and let us know how it went.
