Tips and Tricks 01: Pick your participants

Tips and Tricks 01: Pick your participants

A simple interface with exciting features always contributes to a great experience. We at Zoho feel that our users should always encounter smooth and clear workflows when they use our software. And so, to help you utilize ShowTime to its full potential, we're introducing a brand new "Tips & Tricks" series!

Tip #1: Pick your participants.

With ShowTime, you can now pick and choose your participants. You may want to invite specific trainees directly or avoid competitors from accessing your training sessions. Here are a few tips to help our users invite the chosen few, filter out registrants, and, if needed, set a limit for the participation count.

Invite specific people

Every trainer has that group of loyalists who never miss a session, and it feels great to train such a dedicated group. But why wait till they hear about your session and register? Invite them directly from ShowTime with a customizable email! Click here to learn how.

Filter registrations

Privacy is key for any web conferencing platform. Not every user with access to the session link should be able to join the session directly. Get notifications for every registration, to ensure the quality of your audience by choosing to allow or deny each registration. Click here to learn how.

Fix attendee limit

Sometimes, it helps to have a limited group. Enhanced productivity, better interaction, and effective brain-storming is easier to implement in a small group. Specific remote team discussions and impromptu corporate meetings have fixed attendee counts. Create an attendee limit for your session if you feel the need to restrict it to fewer people. Click here to learn how.

Trainers can alter these settings right up until the launch of the session. Even after registration, you can allow or deny access to any registrant by using the toggle button in the Source column under the Registrants tab.

Have a great training experience with ShowTime!
