Two confirmation emails being sent
Hi,
I have performed the following steps and am landing with two confirmation emails. Can you please let me know how I Can stop the second one.
I created a custom sign up form using Zoho Forms. This form has been setup to accept the person's name and email address. I used the Double Opt-in method, so that they are expected to go to their inbox and confirm their email. They are then redirected to a webpage where they can download an ebook that was promised in exchange for the email. This is the first email. When this first email is send the user is notified that they will be added to the mailing list as a result of their confirmation.
When creating the form I also integrated the form with Zoho Campaigns so that when the user puts in their email address, it gets stored in a mailing list that I created in Zoho Campaigns. I think this addition of the email address to the mailing list triggers another email to be sent asking for Confirmation to be added to the mailing list. This is happening automatically as I did not configure the message content of this email. I can't seem to find the place to either stop this email from being generated or even modify the language on the email.
My question is how can I stop the second confirmation email from being sent. It seems to add an additional layer (a redundant email). Please advise. The screenshot attached is the second email that automatically gets sent.
