Unable to verify email for a new (free) account

I am trying to set up a new account - email and password entered - then onto OTP - ask for it to be sent. It ALWAYS takes well over 15 minutes to arrive, therefore it is always expired when it gets to me - I then have to refresh the OTP page and go through the process again. OVER and over. Hopeless. Zero help it appears.

Close to giving up on ZOHO. such a fundamental thing and it just doesn't work.  Tried online support - zero help.
