We wanted to bring you to notice a few changes in Zoho Marketing Automation in terms of usability.
Merge tags automation
Beginning May 27, 2023, the process of creating merge tags for all fields (default and custom) will be automated, eliminating the need for manual creation. On May 27, 2023, we'll automatically create merge tags for all fields of existing accounts.
After the update is live, while creating a custom field, you will be asked to provide a default value to replace the merge tag when the field is empty. Any previously created merge tags will not be impacted by this change.
Moving footer into the editor
Starting May 10, 2023, we will be simplifying the process of creating the footer of an email by including it as a component within the editor. Previously, the footer had to be created separately from the Settings tab. This change means that you will be able to draft the entire email content from one place.
We will continue to keep the existing email themes, so you can still use them if you prefer. However, creating or editing a new theme will be restricted. We hope this change will make the email creation process more streamlined and convenient for you.
