Upgraded to High Sierra, and Notebook won't open anymore

I've been using Zoho Notebooks for some time (version 4.3.3 in a mid-2011 iMac running Sierra). I've recently updated to High Sierra and installed the recent Notebook version (4.4.2) from the AppStore. The application won't open anymore. If I try to open it from the Launchpad or the Finder's applications window, it gives the message "You can’t open the application “Notebook” because it may be damaged or incomplete." That's the first time I try to open it. In subsequent attempts, it gives the message "Notebook quit unexpectedly" (report attached as "crash_report").

I've tried several things: uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling completely, going trough caches, preferences, application support, etc. and emptying any linked files or folders after reinstalling again, restarting in safe mode, disabling login items before trying to open the app, installing from the "purchased" tab in AppStore, trying to open the application from another user account, etc., etc., including various combinations of the above.

Is this a known issue? How can I solve it? Would it be possible to download a legacy version to try to make it work? Please, any help would be appreciated.

All the best
