V1.93: Windows 10 Ready, High DPI Compatibility and IE Plugin!

Zoho Assist is Windows 10 Ready

Some of you and your customers might have already migrated to Windows 10. We would like announce that Zoho Assist is ready for Windows 10.  Your remote support experience will be as smooth and quick as it was with the earlier versions of Windows.

IE Plugin &  Launch Application in Chrome:  No more application download every time

We have also deployed an IE plugin with this update. Henceforth, be it starting a session or joining a session through the web, you need not download the application every time. Your IE browser prompts an installation window as given below. Once you do it, it invokes the application by itself instead of downloading it every time.

In case of Google Chrome, though you don't get the 'Launch Application' for the first time installation, it prompts it the next time. Check ' Remember my choice for all links of this type' for the browser to invoke the application by itself in future.

High DPI Compatibility

One of the interesting aspects of Windows since 8.1 is High DPI scaling. It means users can set the monitor display at their preferred scale. We detected some issues in Zoho Assist if a remote customer has set the display scaling to some value higher than the default one. Now with this update, we have solved those issues, and it works perfectly.

This version also includes minor bug fixes. Feel free to share your feedback.
