Variable in a link in a email doesn't fully work

Hi,

I want to use the {{signInEventLink}} variable inside an email (since it’s a template we copy twice a week and the link changes every time).

I want to embed the link in the text like this:  Sign in to change you ticket.

However, if I add the variable in the URL box of the email builder inside Backstage, it automatically adds “https://,” and then the variable includes the entire URL, causing a conflict with the double “https://,” which messes up the link.

Is it possible to make the URL box compatible with variables? Or is there any workaround? I can't just edit the html.

thanks.
