I wonder if we can sort entries by vertical alphabetical order in a  three columns Multiple Choice List ? My list is already sorted from A to Z, but when I select the format display in " two or three vertical columns", the alphabetical order keeps horizontal and not vertical (from top to bottom). 

Is there any way to do it vertically?
