Web Clipper Image Capture Issue Still Not Solved? After All These Years?

Brand new user.  Just downloaded and installed the Mac app and associated browser extensions.  I'm taking the app through its paces to see if I'm going to make the big switch.  Unfortunately, I've already run into the same problem with the web clipper that has been reported on this forum going back years (5 years that I can see at first glance).

When using the web clipper either on Safari OR Chrome:
1) Dragging images like you show in your video for the web clipper to the clipper's editor does not work... ever... in any scenario from a web page (it only works if it's from the desktop).
2) When you try to copy and paste an image from a web page, it appears to work (the image shows up in the clipper note), but then does not show up in the note itself -- either in the web interface OR the Mac app.  The image is replace by this:  -( )-  (see attached screenshot)

This is not necessarily a deal breaker, but it was one of the features that sold me on Zoho.  So if it doesn't work... and you guys aren't going to fix it, please remove or modify the video.

If there's a setting or something I'm doing wrong, please let me know!  Thanks!
