What should I be using Salesinbox or Zoho Mail

Hi everyone,

I again find myself a little confused by the Zoho offering.

I am a long time Zoho CRM and Zoho mail user. About a year and a half ago, Zoho mail had a major update and things like streams were added. We have learned to use the new features, although I am sure not to their fullest.

Now while getting help with an issue that I had with emails associated with Contacts in CRM, I now have just discovered that I have Salesinbox. OK, so it looks pretty cool, but now I find myself again in the perplexing situations that ZOHO often puts me in when they release new capabilities or tools.

The problem is that I use a multitude of Zoho products all of which talk to one another i.e CRM Plus, which includes Campaigns, Projects, Sales IQ, and a couple other apps. then we use Creator, Books and Zoho mail. So my confusion is again, which features should I be using for example. I can make a webform in CRM and use autoresponders to send emails campaigns automatically, but then I can do that in Campaigns. I have Zoho mail with built in chat and the streams feature, but now I have Salesinbox. The question is, which feature or applications does what better than the other? Am I best to use Zoho Mail or should I forget about it and live my day inside CRM using Salesinbox for my communication hub.

It would be great if Zoho had a guide that would help us decide what tools and features are the best for our businesses and give us guidance on how to adopt the latest and greatest of what Zoho has to offer by implementing the right tool for the right job.

I guess what I am looking for is a guide on what features I should be using in which apps to get the best experience as opposed to being given a new (toy) feature and not being told that now I should stop using X and now use Y or Z because it will make my job better, faster etc...

Am I the only one that doesn't get it? I love the constant innovation, but please guide us through the innovation by telling us what the BEST practice is based on the latest and greatest innovations. Does that make sense?

Anyway, the real question I would like someone from Zoho to answer is: Do I continue to spend my day in Zoho mail and open CRM when needed, or should I be doing everything from CRM and opening Zoho mail only occasionally? What is the best way to take advantage of Salesinbox.

Regards,

George.
