Hello everyone,
This month, our existing features have undergone quite a few updates and enhancements, and we hope you can see the difference in how much better and more cohesive the overall Backstage experience is.
Here we go with a quick rundown of all that's happened in November.
From plain text to rich text
Apply various styles and formatting to your text with Backstage's rich text editor (RTE). This tool lets you edit most of your text, like the descriptions for an event, speakers, sessions, ticket classes, sponsors, profiles, and more.
You can also use the RTE while designing the event microsite. You'll see the RTE when you edit most of the sections that have text in them. You can also access it in your microsite settings when editing the page elements in the Pages tab of the Customize Text panel. Finally, you can use this editor to emphasize content in your emails too. With the RTE, you can add heading styles, change font size, and apply basic formatting, as well as many other paragraph options.
OTHER UPDATES
- We've extended Backstage OnAir's introductory offer period and made it available for another month. You can use Backstage OnAir free of charge for all virtual events hosted on or before Dec 31, 2020.
- You now have an option to preview and keep a hard copy of the event's agenda by getting a printable version. Event organizers can access this option from the Agenda tab in the Microsite Builder in Backstage. Microsite visitors can access it from the Agenda page.
- We've revamped the sponsor section to include layouts and the option of a carousel slider. Modify these elements from the Settings icon in the Sponsors page in the microsite design.
- The event microsite now has offline support. Anyone who visits the microsite can view the pages loaded in that particular session without an internet connection.
