What's new in Zoho Expense - April 2018

We are regularly working on our product to be the yardstick of quality when it comes to expense reporting. We would like to share with you the  features and enhancements we've made in the last month to make your expense reporting simpler. Let's take a look at the updates we have worked on in the month of April.

The Expense Bot

Cliq users can now perform their expense reporting functions right from Zoho Cliq using the Zoho Expense Bot. It is your very own virtual assistant bot that can automate all your actions related to expense reporting. You can add the Zoho Expense Bot to Zoho Cliq to invite users, upload receipts, approve reports and view expense reports effortlessly. If you are not an existing Cliq user, sign up.

Report Name Automation

Coming up with a report name can be quite laborious, especially when it gets repetitive. Fret not, you can now preset placeholders based on your preferences. Customized fields for Advance Payments

Ever wanted to tweak the Advance payments page a bit? Perhaps add a few personalized fields or remove fields which you deem unnecessary. You can now customize the fields in the advance payments page. Add or remove fields on your advance payments using the Custom Fields.

Analytics for Corporate Card Reconciliations and Expenses by Attendee

Along with the new update, you can now generate detailed analytics for your corporate card reconciliations. Similarly, you can also generate analytics based on the attendees you have associated with an expense.

Delegation Feature

What if you can authorize a user in your organization to create and submit reports on your behalf? Zoho Expense lets you delegate your expense reporting work to another user, without sharing your login credentials. Introducing the delegation workflow in your organization will allow you to delegate reporting tasks to other users when you are away from work.



Change the Mileage Threshold Distance

For Canadian users, admins can now change the default mileage threshold distance. A new mileage rate will be automatically applied to the distances when the users travel past the changed mileage threshold distance.




Zoho Expense is now available in Chinese

Wènhòu! The Zoho Expense application has now added the Chinese language to its vast catalogue of supported languages.
