What's New in Zoho Inventory - March 2023
Hello customers!
We've added a bunch of new features and enhancements in Zoho Inventory to improve your inventory management experience. Here are some of the updates made in January and February.
New dashboard for Bills
Use the new dashboard section in the Bills module to view a summary of your outstanding bills, the amount due on that specific day, the amount due in the next 30 days, and any overdue amount quickly in one place and make informed business decisions.
Enhancements to Shipments
We'll now display sub-statuses in the list view of Shipments. We've also added it as a filter to let you filter transactions with a specific sub-status. You can also filter transactions using sub-statuses in Advanced Search.
TDS (Global Edition)
If you're using the Global edition of Zoho Inventory, you can now enable TDS for your customers and vendors and apply the TDS rates to the transactions created for them.
To enable this option, go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Settings and check Enable TDS.
Override tax amount in sales transactions (Global edition)
Whenever you create a sales transaction, you can override the tax amount calculated by Zoho Inventory using the tax rates configured.
To enable this option, go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Settings and enable the option under Tax Amount Override in Transactions.
Import purchase receives
You can now import all your purchase receives into Zoho Inventory in either CSV, TSV, or XLS format from the Purchase Receives module.
To import, go to the Purchase Receives module on the left sidebar, click the menu icon in the top-right corner, and select Import Purchase Receives.
Design changes made to Zoho Inventory
We've been constantly working on improving Zoho Inventory's user interface to make it more powerful and user friendly. Here are some of the design changes made to Zoho Inventory recently:
- Revamped the Mails tab on the contact details page.
- Revamped the Comments & History section.
- Revamped the Transactions tab on the record details page.
- Revamped the Notifications section to categorize them better.
Updates to the Android app
- We've now added support for creating transactions in any currency for a customer or vendor.
- You can now add customers' or vendors' debit or credit card details and process payments such as retainer invoices and bills online.
