What's New in Zoho Subscriptions - September 2019

Hello everyone,

Zoho Subscriptions has had a bunch of updates since our previous What's New post. Here's a quick look at all the new features and enhancements for September:

Pre-fill hosted payment pages

The data that your customers enter while signing up for a subscription on your own website or web form can now be pre-filled into the hosted payment pages. This can save your customers from the hassle of re-entering this information and thereby, provide a seamless transition to the hosted payment pages. Learn more.

Switch existing subscriptions to metered billing

The Metered Billing feature lets you invoice your customers based on their usage, instead of billing them upfront. With the new update, you can enable metered billing for subscriptions even if it wasn't enabled when the subscription was created.

Display comments in the customer portal

You can now choose to display the comments that you make on invoices in the customer portal. Your customers will be notified via email and will be able to reply to these comments from the customer portal. This can serve as a quick channel for business communication between you and your customer.

Revamped custom domain mapping

We've changed the custom domain mapping process with a slick new interface. You can now instantly disable, re-enable and delete your custom domain mapping right from Zoho Subscriptions, without the need for back and forth messages with our support team. Learn more.

Introducing product custom fields

You can now configure custom fields for products. These custom fields can be used to record extra information while creating plans and add-ons. The custom fields will also available in the line-item level while creating new transactions with plans or add-ons.

To create custom fields for products, go to Settings > Preferences > Product > Custom Fields and click + New Custom Field.

Integrate with one of India's most popular payment gateways

The Paytm integration for the Indian edition of Zoho Subscriptions, lets your customers pay via their credit/debit cards, internet banking, Paytm Wallet and UPI-based apps like Google Pay, BHIM and PhonePe. Learn more.

Our Android and iOS mobile apps were updated with new features as well, so be sure to check them out! If you'd like to view all of our previous updates, visit our What's New Timeline.

We'd love if you could give the new features a try and let us know what you think. Until next time!

Cheers,
Varun Steven
