What's New this March 2022 in Zoho Invoice?

Hello, everyone!

Zoho Invoice gets regularly updated with features that help you simplify business invoicing. Here's a round-up of what's new this March:

Integrate With QuickBooks Online (US and UK Editions)

If you’re using QuickBooks Online for accounting purposes, you can now bridge the gap between invoicing and accounting by integrating it with Zoho Invoice. With this integration, your invoices and payments in Zoho Invoice will instantly sync to QuickBooks Online and be accounted for automatically. You can also choose to import your customers from QuickBooks Online to Zoho Invoice so you have all your customer data in one place. Learn More

To set up the integration: Go to Settings > Integrations > Accounting. Click Connect next to QuickBooks Online.

Upload Documents From the Client Portal

Taking customer collaboration up a notch, the Client Portal now lets your customers share documents with you directly. The documents they upload in the Client Portal will be available for you to view in Zoho Invoice from the attachment section of that particular customer's details page. Similarly, all the documents you attach to a customer in Zoho Invoice will be visible to your customers in the Client Portal.

Your customers can upload documents from the Shared Documents section on the portal home page. This option will be available for them only if you've enabled the Allow customer to edit their information in the portal option on the Client Portal preferences page.

Note: Only the primary contact person will be able to upload documents through the Client Portal.

Set a Default Tax (Global Edition)

If your business often levies a standard tax on all transactions, you can now set that tax as a default. This default tax will be applied on transactions automatically if you haven't associated any other tax with that transaction's customer or line items.

To set a default tax for your organization: Go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Rates. Hover over the desired tax, and click Mark as Default.

Choose Electric As the Fuel Type (UK Edition)

With the usage of electric vehicles rising, we’ve added the option to reclaim VAT for any electric vehicle's mileage expenses. You can do this by selecting Electric as the Fuel Type while recording the expense.

Give these features a try and share your feedback in the comments below or write to us at support@zohoinvoice.com. We'd love to hear from you!

Regards,
The Zoho Invoice Team
