For myself, and many others I presume, it is not necessary to send copies of sales orders--invoices, yes, but not sales orders--so the system should not assume nor depend on sending a sales order for setting the confirmed status. As it is now, to confirm an order without sending it, the user must (1) click Save as Draft, and then (2) on the following page, choose More > Mark as Confirmed.

It would be helpful--and less confusing--to have the option to immediately mark an order as confirmed when initially creating the order.
