I have been trying to figure out the best way to set up drip marketing emails to leads that come in from different sources (landing pages, phone calls, social media etc...)
I am a CRM plus user and do have autoresponders working from CRM, but I have been told by Zoho that campaigns would be the better tool for the job. I am somewhat familiar as I have used campaigns for email blasts from time to time and my leads do sync to a master list in Campaigns for sending those emails.
However, I still don't have a clear step by step,
best practice method for this. It is not clear to me how to best handle leads. Should they be brought into CRM as I do now? Or should I scrap everything I have set up and now send my leads to Campaigns?
I have exchanged emails, had phone calls and even Zoho Assist sessions with the experts at Zoho, but I have to say either I have a mental block or they just don't know how to give instructions because I am still perplexed on what the best way to accomplish this.
I have also considered giving up on Campaigns and going back to Constant Contact or perhaps trying MailChimp. At least there you have reliable chat help and the templates are much better than Campaigns offers, but that means having to deal with syncs and losing some integration advantages, I think???
I have to ask, Am I alone and not just getting it or does someone have the step 1, 2, 3, do this, don't do that, recipe that I have been looking for?
