The new version of Zoho Writer is available as the default to everyone starting today. We’ve added a lot of new features, including real time collaboration, offline , in-line spell check , format painter and enhanced comments , better imports / exports and robust revision history.
Whenever you open a document that you own in the older version of documents, you’ll see a message that instructs you to upgrade your document to the latest version.If the preview of your document doesn't look exactly the same as the original , you can write to us at support(at)zohowriter.com indicating your document id.
If you click Upgrade now, your document will be migrated to the new version of Zoho Writer. You can choose not to upgrade quite yet, but it's important to note that all old documents have upgraded.The old version will be available for a few weeks.
Once you upgrade a document, you can't switch back to the old version of Zoho Writer.
You'll probably notice that some features from the older version of Zoho Writer aren't available . We'll be adding a lot of them soon.

However Heading style customization and text style customization , web view , content sorting , table merge and split will be added in our future updates.
Thanks to everyone who has tried out the new editors over the last couple of weeks. Your feedback has been very valuable as we prepared to make it available to everyone. The new editors also let us develop new features more quickly, so let us know what you think on the forums.
Note : Remote API Users need not change anything in their Implementation. Remote documents will currently be opened and edited in https://exportwriter.zoho.com , which points to Writer 2.
