Writer document thumbnails not updating

Writer document thumbnails not updating

Hi Zoho,

Big fan of Writer but it seems like the thumbnails (which are displayed on the Writer dashboard) do not update. I saw a previous post on here where you explained that there is a delay before thumbnails are updated. However, the thumbnail for my document hasn't updated in over a week in the desktop client and at least a few days for the browser version. I don't know why the two thumbnails are different... but hey.

Other notes:
  1. Clearing browser caches does not update thumbnail.
  2. Accessing the thumbnail image using the writer.zoho.com/writer/thumbnail/xxx URI does not update thumbnail.
  3. Signing in on a different computer does not give an updated thumbnail.
  4. Making a copy of a document does not give an updated thumbnail.
  5. Saving an open document as a new file does not give an updated thumbnail.
I'd be ok with having to manually refresh the image (if that were an option).
