WYSIWYG editor Style combo box is broken

Although zoho's WYSIWYG editor is remarkably full-featured and nicely behaved (compared to similar in-browser editors on other wiki and blog platforms), there are several problems with the Style combo box which in combination are serious.
  • the Style drop-down is too narrow to show the style of the currently selected text.

  • Even if made wider by changing the CSS, the code behind the page apparently applies an "abbreviate with ellipses" function to the text, making it so short that you can't tell which Heading style is selected.

All Headings show up as "Heading..." instead of "Heading 1", "Heading 2" and so on. So although the combobox value tracks the style of the text at the cursor, the text it displays is useless.

  • The combobox's drop down list doesn't highlight which style is currently selected, so that doesn't tell the style at the cursor either.

  • So there is no way to tell which heading style is currently applied to the text at the cursor!

This could be fixed by simply disabling the combobox's "abbreviate long text" function, or at least making it abbreviate AFTER the crucial information. (We don't need to see the Control key info in the combobox.) Also make the combobox wider accordingly.
