Zia update: Smart composing with generative AI capabilities

Hey everyone!

We're excited to announce the launch of smart composing in Zoho Writer, powered by ChatGPT's generative AI. This is a game changer for content creators, who now have the power to write better, faster, and more easily.

To begin utilizing Zia, your admin must enable it for your organization's users through Writer's admin panel. Please refer to the user guide for step-by-step guidance on enabling Zia AI.

To use smart composing, simply type two forward slashes (//) in the Writer editor. This will bring up Zia, your AI-powered writing assistant. Zia can now help you with a variety of tasks, including:
  • Generating content from scratch: Type in a prompt, and Zia will generate fresh ideas or content for blog posts, tweets, emails, and more.
  • Editing existing content: Select a word, phrase, sentence, or paragraph, and Zia can provide synonyms, definitions, and more. This makes it easy to customize your content on the fly.


Zia is now integrated with ChatGPT, so please exercise caution when working on content that involves personally identifiable information (PII).
