Hello,
We have been doing our books on an older version of quickbooks and we thought we would try Zoho books for a bit.
For the life of me, I cant find out how to add an employee along with W4 info etc. In quickbooks this is simple to do, stupidly simple.
Now I read that zoho payroll is only available for India and parts of the USA. But a quick search in this forum shows it is not available in every state. I honestly cant imagine why anyone would use accounting software that cant handle payroll considering salaries, wages, payroll taxes and payroll withholdings etc.. make up a decent amount of expense and accounts payable.
I have seen for instance Australians waiting YEARS to have payroll available in books. Is there an ETA on when the rest of the USA will have payroll?
The idea of having an affordable all encompassing business ecosystem is very appealing, christ I would pay 2 to 3 times the current monthly fee if everything just worked. Last year we went from annual to monthly because we didn't want to be committed to Zoho.
While Zoho One is cheap, it is also not very polished, the help sections are often outdated and tutorial images often don't match the screen we are looking at. Some things are very clunky in how they work. To be frank we have not fully left the more expensive, albeit rock solid stable options. We just recently went back to office 365 because zoho office apps just aren't up to par with Microsoft and only writer can be used offline during train rides, flights etc.
Please respond if you have an ETA for Payroll for the rest of USA or even if you don't have an ETA I'd like to know that too.
Thanks,
