Hello users,
We’ve rolled out new features and enhancements in Zoho Books. From iOS 26 updates to viewing reports as charts, explore the updates designed to enhance your bookkeeping experience.
Zoho Books Updates for Apple Devices
At WWDC 2025, Apple unveiled iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, and watchOS 26. We’ve integrated these features into
Zoho Books to make your bookkeeping experience faster, smarter, and more intuitive.
Stay Compliant with the New GST Rates [India Edition]
With the GST Council’s new rate updates, the earlier four-slab structure has been reduced to 5%, 18%, and 40%. You can update the GST rates seamlessly across your items and recurring profiles based on the HSN/SAC codes configured.
Support for Direct Bank Feeds [UK Edition]
We now support direct bank feeds for all organizations on the free plan of Zoho Books. You can connect one bank account via Token.io, while direct PayPal integration has no account limits.
Cancel or Correct Invoices
You can now cancel invoices with inaccuracies, which automatically generates a cancellation invoice in the Credit Notes module. You can then create a correction invoice for the cancelled invoice, generating a new invoice with the corrected details.
Note: This feature is available only for Global edition organizations in Zoho Books with their Organization Location set to France.
View Reports as Charts [AU & EU DC]
With the
chart view in reports, you can visualize your data as a chart instead of viewing it in a plain table format.
Track Customer Payment Status
You can now manage and track customer payments under payments received with three statuses: Draft, Paid, and Void. We also support the Mark as Paid and Covert to Draft options in the details page of customer payments. The status is visible across the list page of customer payments, advanced search, custom views, workflows, and payment details, and can be updated even for online payments.
Increase API Limits
Admins can now temporarily increase API limits directly from the API Dashboard.
To do this, go to Settings > Developer Data > API Usage > Click the Purchase API Add-On dropdown and select Increase API Limit Temporarily. Then, in the pop-up, click Increase Limit.
Introducing WebForms
You can now create
Web Forms in Zoho Books to easily collect data from people both inside and outside your organization. Simply create a form, link it to a custom module, and share its URL. Once the form is submitted, the collected information will be automatically stored in the associated custom module.
Clone Custom Reports
You can now clone and edit your custom reports from the custom report list page.
Customize PDF Names
You can now customize the names for PDFs in Invoices and Quotes using supported placeholders, along with optional prefixes or suffixes.
Note: The supported placeholders for customizing PDFs names are, Invoice Number, Sales Person, Due Date, Customer Name, Organization Name, and Invoice Date.
To do this, go to Settings > Customization > PDF Templates > Invoice/ Quotes > Configure Export File Name.
Zoho Inventory Add-On Updates
View Bin Stock Details
You can now view bin stock details directly on the item's details page.
Enhancement to Bulk Update in Items
The bulk update feature for items has been enhanced to support additional fields. Along with the existing ones, you can now update Brand, Manufacturer, Custom Fields, MRP, Sales Description, Purchase Price, Purchase Account, Purchase Description, Inventory Account, Inventory Valuation Method, HSN/SAC, Returnable, and Bin Tracking in bulk.
Stock Preference For Replenishment
You can now configure stock replenishment to include Available for Sale, Yet to Receive, and In Transit stock when generating replenishment tasks.
To enable this option, go to Settings > General > Items > Check the option Include Yet to Receive and In Transit stock along with available for sale to generate replenishment tasks.
Bulk Add and Autofill Serial Numbers
You can now use the Add in Bulk and Autofill Serial Numbers options to quickly select and print serial numbers on Items and Composite Items detail pages.
Other Feature Enhancements
- You now have the option to attach files to custom modules, with a limit of up to 10 files. You can also create lookup custom fields for Locations in both custom fields and custom modules. Additionally, you can access custom modules in the customer and vendor portal.
- You can customize columns and create custom views in the Timesheet module.
- The VAT return filing has been enhanced with additional columns and grouping by Tax Rates and Type of Tax, providing a more detailed, user-friendly view and making it easier to analyze transactions by tax category. [UK Edition]
- You can now pay up to 250 bills per cheque using the Pay via Cheque option, which was previously limited to 10 bills.
- We now support record locking for sales orders and items.
- We now support the Image data type for custom fields, allowing you to upload and display images on the transaction details page.
- You now have the option to bulk update accounts for sales receipts in the Accountant module.
