Now let’s dive into each of this month’s updates:
API v2.1
We'll be releasing a slew of new APIs that are essentially an upgraded and improved version of the existing v2 APIs.
Get records and Get records by ID
-
The number of records that can be fetched by the v2.1 API can be 200, 500 or 1000(Default). In comparison, the v2 API can only handle 200.
-
The entire content of records can be fetched using the v2.1 API. In comparison, the v2 API can only fetch the Quick view or detail view.
Add records, Update records, and Delete records
-
These v2.1 APIs records will come with a new attribute that enables you to skip workflows. For example, form and schedule actions will not be executed if this attribute is used.
Note:
Even after the introduction of the new v2.1 APIs, their corresponding v2 APIs will continue to be available. Both will co-exist and you can just pick the one that works best for you.
How do I benefit?
The new v2.1 APIs bring enhanced functionalities, improved performance, and increased flexibility, so you can meet a wide range of business requirements.

Enhanced navigation in forms
With the aim of making form filling a breeze, we've come up with two new enhancements for navigation within forms. These are designed keeping in mind the various navigational needs that may arise out of different scenarios.
Tab key indexing
- This new capability in form field navigation will allow you to change the tab order of form fields, making navigating more efficient and intuitive. The tab order can be configured to be vertical
or
horizontal
. Users can now go forward or right between fields by using the
Tab
key, and backward or left by using the
Shift+Tab
combination. Crucially, when utilizing a multi-column layout, form field navigation is determined by the arrangement of fields in the form builder, rather than their appearance in live mode.
Four-way navigation
- Going forward, you can move between fields in all four directions: up, down, left, and right. You can do this simply by combining the up/down arrow keys or the left/right arrow keys with special keys, such as the
Alt key on Windows or the Option key on Mac. This new update aims to provide an additional method of navigating between form fields, allowing users to move across the form more quickly and efficiently.
How do I benefit?
These updates enhance the user experience by providing seamless navigation, better accessibility, greater convenience, and increased efficiency in the form-filling process, resulting in faster data entry.

C5, C6

Where to find them
-

under the
User Input (for mobile)
section in Field properties.
