Zoho Docs desktop not syncing when a co-owner uploads file

Hello guys, I got this situation:

One of my colleagues created a folder in Zoho Docs. She installed Zoho Docs for Windows desktop so she can manage the contents of the folder smoothly. So far, so good.

Now, after that, she SHARED the folder with me, and added me as the CO-OWNER of the folder. I now can see and edit the contents of the folder.

The problem is this: When I ADD (upload) a file to the folder, we both can see the file online in Zoho Docs, but that file DOES NOT appear inside her folder in Windows. In other words, the folder does not sync properly, because everything that I upload doesn't appear on her computer.

I assume this is not the normal behaviour, since we both are owners of the folder. Maybe should I change the roles?

Thanks for the help!

Rod.

      • Introducing True Syncing of Read-only Folders - Zoho Docs Sync

Some files are to be read, others to be edited, and some few to be scrutinized and reviewed. The permissions you grant while you share a file decide the level of activity a user can do on your file.  If you have a set of files to be shared with your team and you don't want the contents to be changed in any way, then you can share the files in a read-only folder. But what happens when read-only folders are synced to desktops?                                                 Read-only folders synced
