Zoho Inactive Account email - is it phishing?

Hi guys,

I receive this email and would like to know if it's a real email from Zoho Corp or a phishing scam email. The reason is that I regulary use my zoho email so it cannot be inactive. The email was sent from the address " *******@*******.***" and the message goes below:

Dear *******@*******.***,

We noticed that you haven’t used your Zoho account (*******@*******.***) for over a year. According to our inactive user accounts policy, we are in the process of cleaning-up the data space of inactive accounts which will also help us to protect your privacy.

The Account: *******@*******.*** used for signing up Zoho services remains Inactive.

Domain Registered :  www.zoho.com 

If we don’t hear from you in 7 days, your Zoho account will be automatically closed and the data will be deleted permanently without any further notifications.

Want to keep your account?  

    If you wish to keep your account active and continue using our services, you can choose the option ("Retain the account") from the Account-Management-form link(provided below) and sign in again to your Zoho account.

Don’t want your account or your data?

    If you no longer want to use the Zoho account and data associated with it. You can choose the option ("Delete the data and close the account") from the Account-Management-form link(provided below). We will close your account and all data associated with it will be permanently deleted after that.

Want to check or save your data?

    If you don’t want to keep your Zoho account but would like to get data associated with it. You can choose the option ("Provide the Back-up and close the account") from the Account-Management-form link(provided below). We will export your data and provide you the data backup and then close the account and delete the data permanently.

What happens when your account is closed?

  After your account is closed, you can no longer re-open your account, you can no longer access any Zoho services. All of your account data will be permanently deleted to protect your privacy. 


Now, click on the  Account-Management-form  link and enter the details so that we can proceed further.

After submitting the form, a verification link will be sent to your registered email, please verify your account so that we can proceed further with your choice.

Note  : If you are regular user, Please notify us we will hold the data deletion process
