We are currently testing Zoho one, and are on the 30 days trial. We are currently using emails synced with IMAP in Outlook, PC based software. We are strongly considering moving all our email interaction to the cloud, as we currently have all reminders and other Outlook-based functions PC-based, and cannot be accessed remotely on the cloud. We love all the many unique functions that zoho mail offers, and they are all cloud based!
I am aware there is a template option integrated in Zoho Mail, and you can also configure CRM templates, and access them via the E widgets. However both of these options are very limiting in terms of helping you compose an email.
ZOHO MAIL TEMPLATES
This option integrated into Zoho Email is just a fancy way of pasting text, but provides no functionality, automation, or options prior to the insertion of the template in the email.
ZOHO CRM TEMPLATES
This option seems to be quite advanced, but it is mostly CRM-based, providing you to pull information from CRM, and there modules by using their merge fields.
Is there any other the Zoho app or connection that could be established, that could auto fill certain parts of the email, like subject, To, Cc, Attachments etc. But most importantly, a way to choose canned responses and other functionality requested prior to the insertion of the template? like it is available with the above plug-in we use? Does something like this exist in the Zoho world? is it in development? can it be implemented in another zoho app, and called into Zoho Mail? like a CRM module?
