ZOHO-One not as useful as one might think (for "Solo-preneurs")!

For single accounts it is not possible to collaborate with free-lancers, or clients on projects (or other ZOHO modules that are included in the ZOHO-One bundle).

This is a statement by ZOHO:

Based on this we can proceed with the licensing of 1 employee for your company, however please note that a single Zoho One license will give you access to only yourself for all Zoho Apps. So if you need any other person apart from yourself to access any Zoho Apps within your Zoho One account, then you will also need to purchase license for that person as well regardless of whether he is your employee or not.

Since ZOHO clearly seems to be catering towards "Solopreneurs" and small business owners (or at least includes these into its marketing strategy) I think it would be fair to incorporate some options of collaboration with ("external") free-lancers and/or clients within the ZOHO-One bundle! It would make the whole, hyped up "deal" more attractive and, mostly, more useful and practical. Now, when I have a project I would still have to work with Trello, where I can easily and quickly add or delete as many "members" as I want, for free, while I am supposed to be signed up to this "all-tools-inclusive-one-stop-shop" business-suite (ZOHO-One)! It doesn't make sense!

My suggestion is to make this possible through the referral program: If you refer ZOHO (any module or service) to friends/ colleagues (free-lancers) you earn a certain number of "users". This way you can create a ZOHO-user network: a win-win situation for everybody (especially for ZOHO!).

As of now referrals of ZOHO-One don't have any benefit for the referrer, but still all the benefit for ZOHO.

      • Feature update: Advanced security settings

We've previously written about how using security policies could be beneficial for admins. To enable you to better protect your organization, we've come up with a few additional settings for security policies in Zoho One that can be used to regulate your users' web sessions. What are web sessions? A web session refers to the period of time you stay signed in to your Zoho One account. You create a new web session every time you sign in to Zoho One (or any of its included apps), and this session exists
