Zoho CRM supports Zoho Projects integration

Signing on a new customer is quite a challenging task. You generate leads, go through endless negotiations, put forward your best points and then wait for the customer to accept. This however, is only half the battle. Once the customer is onboard the wheels are set in motion and work begins and you tend to lose sight of the product delivery. How would you address this? What project features can I access from my CRM account?

 

You can create project portals and projects from your CRM account itself. These can be viewed and accessed from your Zoho Projects account as well. You can add your accounts as client company and their related contacts as client users. All updates made to projects using CRM account will reflect in Zoho Projects and vice-versa.

What are the benefits of integrating CRM with Projects?

 

1. No need to go back and forth between CRM and Projects. Create projects from CRM itself.




2. You can monitor and measure project progress from a single location.

3. Account users can view the progress of the projects from their respective modules

4. Take control of entire customer life-cycle.

5. Create a project for Account, Contacts or Potentials.

6. You can add tasks from CRM into Zoho Projects once you associate a project to Accounts, Contacts or Potentials.



Will I need to pay for the integration?

 

You need not pay for the integration. However, you will have to be a paid subscriber of both Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects.

 

I no longer need this integration. What do I do?

 

You can deactivate the integration anytime. You will no longer have access to projects from CRM. However, users can continue working from their Zoho Projects account.

        Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
