ZOHO's performance is very poor

ZOHO's performance is very poor

We have signed a contract with ZOHO back to April 2012.

Since then we constantly have some minor and major bugs / errors / unavailability of servers, whatever.

Unfortunately ZOHO's style of work could be described like: "prove the opposite" and if you can't - you are doing wrong. All the statements in advertisement are based on "opposite could not be proved".

First, the contract states some liability of ZOHO which in fact means that you won't be able even to get your payment back - the company simply have so few funds that no lawyer is going to work with the case. Though, ZOHO is always willing to provide 1-2 months of your pain for free (meaning that you will get extra time to use their service).

What is also important support team has very poor speed. Where the entire solution only takes about 5 mins one day only for answer is solid standart for ZOHO. "Answer" is not a solution here. It is beginning of discussion like: "describe what you are doing, what browser you are using" etc. After this ZOHO will come with "brilliant" solution to work in non-appropriate manner.

Our first problem was that MS Exchange is not working. It is based on some outdated simulations (like MS Ex 2003) so that no new device will be able to connect via MS Exchange. Sure, this was never mentioned prior to contract sign. ZOHO only said they do have MS Ex.

Our second problem happened with e-mail when IMAP was not working properly - some messages could not be seen. In two days ZOHO came with a "brilliant" solution to use web interface. And we had to for couple of days. The matter of fact that their web UI is slow is not too much important for ZOHO.

Our third problem was with Docs. So-called update to ver. 3.0 resulted in total outage of docs where we already uploaded important files for collaboration work. ZOHO was fixing something for more than one month. Though the full solution was never found. Docs are extremely slow and we were supposed to "remove that and unmark this" - they are not too much concerned on client's productivity.

Our fourth problem came with Mail servers again when suddenly IMAP was offline for like 3 days.

On October we proposed just to cancel our agreement because we are very unhappy with cooperation. And ZOHO lost without answer. Recently we realised why - almost impossible to take a single cent from this company in court...

We are not the only client. Check the forum yourself.

Best regards,
KP
