Having installed Zoho Writer as an App in Google Drive, then: Immediately prior to first use (of Zoho Writer, from within Google Drive) is naturally a screen, requesting permissions to objects & operations.
Unless I get some good explanations on
why
Zoho Writer
(being a wordprocessing web-application)
should basically be allowed to do anything to everything & anything within the Google Drive universe, then I dare not use Zoho Writer from with Google Drive.
From what I can tell, then: Granting Zoho Writer the permissions
(which it asks for)
implies that any file or document stored within Google Drive may be read, written, deleted, copied, have ACL changed to e.g. public accessible, ... (
I dare not think about the implications of suddenly e.g. having a public sharing of e.g. a MS Visio file, containing schematics of corporate network topology, including info on servers, routers, names, IPs, etc.
)
