Zoho writer new document creation offline or/and zoho notebo
Too bad it's not possible to create a new document while off line.
The reason is I'm using zoho writer as a tool to take notes.
I chose writer instead of Zoho Notebook because so far writer is the only application available off line.
I have several PCs and I take quick notes when ideas come to my mind.
Previously I used MS notepad, but afterwards I had trouble collecting them and gathering them on the same PC where I work.
That's why I thought the idea of having notes on a webb based application was a good thing for unicity of version and storage.
the ability to be offline is the reason why I chose writer, and even zoho at all, because taking notes is by nature something you do as it comes and I needed to be able to take notes offline too.
(by the way I am a user of Rememberthemilk too and with it you can do anything off line with google gears)
That's why I think you should either :
- allow people to create new writer documents off line
- or have zoho note book capable of being off line too like writer
I think the quicker option and lighter too in terms of development is the first one.
In the end I think Zoho notebook should be available offline too, because I think it's a great tool to gather all information about a project and it would be better to be able to work on a projet with notebook off line too.
By the way, integrating the feed back tool in each and every tool is a VERY good idea
