Zoho Writer Problems

Hello,

     I have read posts since 2012 claiming that Zoho has been working on the data input feature via iPad for Zoho Reports and Zoho Docs. Is Zoho actually working on this or just saying they are? Seems to be taking a very long time to get it implemented. 
     In the mean time I am forced to use Zoho Writer to input data with the the iPad. Since it is only compatible with word doc (or similar) formats I have to draw a table to create a spreadsheet. Listed are the problems I am experiencing when attempting this:
  1. fill cells with a color on PC; doesn't show up on app
  2. create colored borders in table; doesn't show up on app
  3. resize/split table cells; displays incorrectly on app

  Long story short if the data entry capabilities were there for Zoho Reports or Zoho Docs it would solve all problems. Please advise.
