About managing Zoho backstage ticket buyers

Spotlight 19: Google Analytics for Backstage – Track microsite performance
The first impression you make on your attendees, for the most part, depends on how interesting your event microsite is. So how do you design a microsite that leaves a lasting impression on people? You do it by studying how they're interacting with your
Multiple roles for a single person.
Hello, I love Backstage! I found it only recently. I am doing an event with one other person. We are planning to talk to high school young adults about relieving the burden they have on them regarding upcoming decisions, and to give them tools to think about those things. At this time, there are only two of us. We will both be speakers. I would like to give the other person the role of organizer as well. When I try to do that, the system says that the person (by email) is already part of
How do you add a Floorplan?
I'm trying to add a floorplan for Exhibitors. I can add a new page called "Floorplan" but I don't seem to be able to embed any reasonably sized image. The closest I can get is a section which is "Image and Text", but the image is set to be tiny.
Format of Agenda
Are there settings to make changes to the format of the Agenda? In particular, the Agenda only has a Title and a very tiny image of the speaker - how would I get the Speaker name, title and/or company in there?
Spotlight 18: CRM for Backstage – Centralize your attendee database
You've probably made a lot of connections at your event and have a lot of people interested in your product or service. However, for an event to truly succeed, you need to be able to build on those connections, to make your attendees your customers and
Button or Link
How do you add a button or link on a web page. We would like to add more than one registration button to backstage. This is our first year with zoho backstage but we have put great event sites together over the past few years and have found good business practice is to at minimum have at least one register button for every three sections of the page. It seems there is no way to add a button to a section without creating an image and linking it? is this correct? Also, the zoho forms that are
What's New – January 2020
Hello everyone, We spent January working on a lot of under-the-hood improvements and squashing quite a few bugs. The result? Backstage runs a lot more smoothly now. Backstage Database Integrate with Zoho CRM
I realise that registrations of a Backstage event will goes into Eventbrite and not into Backstage, which means these registrants database will not goes into my CRM. Am I right? Is there any integration for these registrants information can be converted into CRM contact and account?
Spotlight 16: Privatize ticket classes with access codes
Whether you're conducting an invite-only event or giving special offers to VIPs and loyal customers, you'll need to have private ticket classes that are invisible to everyone but that select few. And what better way for them to access these secret ticket
What's New – December 2019
Hello everyone, Another year gone and what a year it was! This month, we worked long and we worked hard because, as you know, work happens a lot faster when it's the end of the year. There were gaps to fill, loose ends to tie, and projects to finish. We hope you're happy with the result. So here we go with the latest updates from Backstage. It's here — BadgeUp for event badges! If there's one event trend that's truly classic, it's probably the badge. It's a good conversation starter, makes
Spotlight 15: Include legal policies for your event
You owe it to yourself and your participants to put on events responsibly, especially when it comes to covering the bases from a legal standpoint. This will help protect both you and them. To accomplish this, you should have two legal documents in place:
Introducing BadgeUp for event badges
As every event brings together many people, badges are useful tools to improve attendee experience. They enable participants to easily identify a person's role, get initial introductions out of the way, and establish an instant connection. An attractive badge can also be a good keepsake for attendees to remember your event's brand long after the event is over. Zoho Backstage is happy to release BadgeUp, our new solution to design and generate event badges that you can customize and download in minutes, facilitating
Do USA customers have to use Eventbrite integration to sell tickets?
Does Zoho Backstage allow the customer to set things up in a way that ticket sales are done only through Zoho Backstage and a payment gateway? From my reading, it seems if we want to sell tickets online, we have to integrate backstage with eventbrite. That means paying Eventbrite's charge per ticket which is over $1 each. I want to sell my tickets online and in person using just Zoho Backstage and a Thirdparty payment processor. Is this possible?
Conference Management
Hi, I am new to ZOHO Backstage, I have glanced the features and finding it interest to get started for our conference management from 2020. Could you please connect me to a right person in India to get in touch with??

How to view agenda on external monitors at the event
We are considering ditching print products entirely and wish to be able to have the agenda visible on widescreen monitors in our conference and exhibition area. Preferred would be "next sessions" . The mobile app could probably be extended on to a monitor easily enough but not more than one at a time.. is there a function that you would recommend? Anyone..
Release Notes
General issue across all Zoho products that's consistent with most software products on the market. It would be extremely useful to publish release notes (which are completely different than "What's New"), especially on this product. We would use this product but are looking for specific fixes and features before we could ever consider using the product for production. Other than constantly getting trial logins or sending notes to support, there's really no way to do this.
Spotlight 13: Keep everyone in the loop
Events are predictable in their unpredictability. Things will change, plans will go astray, and you'll have to make a lot of last-minute decisions to get your event going without a hitch. At the same time, you also have to pass the news on to your event

Long time zoho user but new to backstage
Needed to organise an event and zoho to the rescue again. Thanks. It was all pretty easy. One question. How do we send receipts. We linked it to zoho CRM but really it was all about poor as it did not import the address. We the. Had to manually create an invoice in books etc. Is that the correct way.
With the Portal mapped to a domain, can we still map the microsite to other domain?
Imagine the Portal has already been mapped to abc.com and while creating microsite for each of the events, can we still map those to xyz1.com, xyz2.com and xyz3.com and so on? While hosting the client's events, clients may ask to map it to their site. So, this feature is very important for subscription mode. Do you have this feature?
SalesIQ for Backstage: Touch base with website visitors
You probably spent a lot of time and effort building your event microsite and making sure everything is just right. Now that it's built, you're likely wondering how well it's relating to your audience. Who's visiting it? Where are they from? What do they find interesting there? What's stopping them from buying a ticket to your event? So many questions and not enough answers. We've got some good news for you. Backstage is now integrated with Zoho SalesIQ to help you get answers to all of these questions so you can understand

It would be nice if Promo codes could be cloned when you clone the event or be universal with a button to turn them on or off for a specific event.
Custom branding for your app just got simpler
At Backstage, we've always strived to help you create impeccable event experiences. Some time back, we introduced the Zoho Backstage for Attendees app for Android and iOS to improve attendee experience on the go. The app came loaded with a ton of great features including personalized agendas, discussion channels, and session participation. We also gave you the option to rebrand the attendee app and make it all about you and your organization. This time around, we've streamlined the entire process

Every session at your event needs to be properly planned to provide value for your attendees. Previously with Zoho Backstage, getting your presentations in place and delivering them on event day was done from the Sessions tab in the Manage dashboard view
Spotlight 10: Channel your event discussions
Discussion channels are spaces that you or your event participants can create to talk about various topics related to your event. Private or public channels can be created to educate your attendees, enable people to develop relationships, or plan event specifics with other organizers on a digital forum. For instance, say you'd like to decide the venue for your event with another event organizer or allow attendees to network with other participants during a session. All you have to do is to form specific
Using forms to registrate
Hi, We will organize a breakfast seminar that is free of charge and we want to use a form where participants can register. Among other things, they should be able to fill in any food allergies. What is the best way to use Backstage and can we integrate it with Zoho Forms? Best regards /Camilla
Tips and Tricks 3: Address conflicts in speaker time
Hello everyone, We know preparing for your event comes with a myriad set of problems. For one thing, planning your agenda is a lot like putting together a puzzle. A lot goes into planning it, as it's what will tell your attendees the story of your event. One of the most common issues that occur when building the agenda is a conflict in speaker times. The entire agenda might be planned out before you notice that you've scheduled a speaker to speak at two sessions in the same time slot. And it can take
Concert Event Operator - How much can we customize the backstage web portal?
How much can we customize the backstage web portal? We're a concert event operator. We also have a travel packages that combine the concert with hotel accommodations, transportation, food, parties, etc. We don't have speakers but do have entertainers. Can we change the speaker to entertainers in the header? Has anyone used the backstage application for events that are not speaker oriented but have a broader product offering?
How does BadgeUp Work?
When creating the badges, where do you all get those printed? especially if you use the plastic type badges. Does Zoho send the files out or do some kind of integration with a 3rd party badge printer? I'm on a ZohoOne subscription and didn't want to use my one license for a test event to see how this worked. Thanks for any insight Randall
Spotlight 5: Convey more with custom sections
Your event microsite is the first impression you make on visitors who want to learn more about your event. It is also a place where attendees come to find out event-related information. Providing this information in a structured layout increases engagement, prompts conversions, and drives ticket sales for your event. Insert information anywhere on the event microsite with the help of custom sections. Choose from the following types of sections depending on the content you want to share. Text Use
Spotlight 8: Gear up your staff for event day
It takes an army and then some to run an event successfully, and how smoothly an event runs depends largely on its team. Zoho Backstage has all the tools your staff needs to run the event without any hitches. Be it juggling a multitude of tasks at the
Custom URL
Are there plans to allow URL customization of the specific event location (e.g., as a CNAME), rather than under the portal URL?
Embedding The Calendar
I am using Zoho Backstage on the Zoho One plan and when I embed the calendar it only shows the one event that has the Zoho One Enterprise attached and not my other event just created for a free event. I don't understand why this is the case. Can you let me know what I can do about it.
Adding Speakers without requiring an email
This is an old question, but many other issues have been resolved, so seeing if this show-stopper will ever be addressed in the product timeline. You currently must use speaker email addresses to enter any detailed speaker information. This just isn't a workable solution for most folks that produce shows on a regular basis. I know the target here is a simple out of the box low end solution, but is there any chance of removing this limitation? We've tried a number of workarounds (e.g., using "+"
