Trouble importing spreadsheet
I'm trying to add a new form to an existing app using the import XLS button. I copy the information from the spreadsheet and paste it in the box (17 columns by 33 rows). When I click Done I get a Please Wait and the lower portion of the screen goes blank but no form is created. I tried this on two different computers. Both are using Firefox 3.5. Column widths
I have a view with only a couple of columns, so want the widths to be small. I have tried setting the column widths as low as 1 pixel, but the widths remain wide. I must have a misconception about the Column Width setting.
registration form
hello...good morning(follow by malaysian time :],hehe ) anyway ive a small problem here.. yesterday im doing a simple registration form but when i put on my blog... the program asked for user name and password(public view)... and i already set that registration form as public(from setting)... but the msg displayed "Your request for Public Access is pending" n i not yet receive any comfimation thru my email. i just need to know, is that the right way for what im doing? becoz ive no idea bout this...

Auto populate text box
I would like to know whether its possible to autopopulate text box when a value is selected from combo box. For example if i select a particular subject the classrrom and the instructor for it must be automatically filled in tthe text box.

Public Forms
I have embedded my form into a website for public access to gather data. However, when I log out of zoho.com the form disappears and a log-in window takes its place. How do I set my form to public so that it stays public all the time and is not linked to my zoho login status? I set this up for a friend under my personal email and would like to do the same for work under a second account I created for gathering conference registration data but if the form can't remain public it is useless for web

Schedules quota are too few
Despite an enterprise edition, the schedules are limited to 30 per months (quota). Our organization requires more schedules on certain months of the year. Could you please update the number of schedules available or explain us how to be able to use more schedules per months? Note: if this correspond to an non-free update, please contact us prior to any change and let we decide first if it's worth before confirming the change. Script to import latest rss-entry based on user input

Cryptic error message
I created a function that creates a new record, which I call from a view. But when I try to execute it I get this cryptic error message: Error details: Error occured while executing the script. Error occured. This gives me no hint as to what the error can be. Any ideas?
Parameters for HTML Views
I'd like to propose the ability to also add integer parameters to an html view. In attempting to pass ID number, I'm forced to convert it to a string, pass that string via url to the view, and then convert the string back into a number. I see no technical issues passing numbers via url strings, do you? Seems like a real runaround. When adding parameters, one expects some options to specif what variable type it is. John M. Whitney

What I'm trying to do is add some buttons to and HTML view that when clicked refresh the view to display new data. The application has a number of events with dates. By clicking one of two buttons, events for today or the next two weeks are displayed. John M. Whitney

Hi, I just signed up today up for Zoho and am currently on the enterprise trial run. I have only one application, which is a registration form for a website I own. I want to make it a pubic application so that people who register to be volunteers via this form can sign up without having to create a zoho account. Suggest-as-you-type drop down for lookups to forms with many records
Let's say I have two forms. One is Clients, and has 8000 records. The other one is Orders, and one of its columns, named "client", is a lookup to the Clients form. There are two related problems: - When I edit an Order, the 8000 Client records are downloaded to populate the drop down list for the client field. That makes the loading of the form rather slow. - Because the drop down list contains all the 8000 clients, it is a bit difficult for the user to select the right client. Would it be possible

Comparing current date/time to current date doesn't work

Cannot create new forms
tried to import .xls data from both my Mac and PC - pages won't load!! It says javascript void whenever I scroll over the 'submit' button. Page will not reload, so I go back to the setup page and retry. Sometimes I get to the column match page, but won't complete the upload after. Pls help
Amending export fields on creator
I want to export from Creator - ideally to an RSS feed. I want to remove certain fields so they don't get exported as they are not relevant and make the feed looks messy - ie. ID number, ip addresses etc. I can hide them on the contact view by hiding the column, but on export I cannot find a way of only exporting certain fields. Is this possible? Thanks Alistair
Fetch and update doesn't work

html view that opens records into another html view
Is there a way to create an html view that has a link that will bring up a record into another html view? I want a listing of all my transactions but to have a link that a user can click that will bring up another view that has data displayed into an html table that looks like an invoice. This way i can create invoices right inside of creator. How would i do this? Also i would like to be able to email and print this invoice html view, how would i do this? The print command i think would be easy.

Embeding summary views into and HTML view
I want to build an HTML view that would look about like this Summary View 1 Summary View 2 View 3 View 4 I am not familiar with HTML. What is the very basic syntax to get the first two columns? How can I stop Summary view from expanding to take up full width (if Summary View 2 would be absent, for example).?
all data lost in database
I have 10 entries left out of 1200 that are lost in my database. the database is Iao Detention Database my username is iaoadmin I did delete about 80 of the entries but suddenly they all disappeared and left me with 10 entries. Hi Guys Me again: I'm trying to allow for a file to be downloaded or sent as an attachment in an email. I would prefer the attachment, but can live with the download link. I found a script that does it here - but when I click on the link in the email it tells me that: You are not authorised to access this file in Zoho Creator. Go to Home Can you guys help with this? Ghost text in free flow scripting in Chrome on a Mac
When editing code on a Mac in Chrome, occassionally there is "ghosting" (please see attached screenshot). This does not occur in Firefox or Safari (which shares the webkit engine with Chrome). The obvious workaround is to either not use the free flow scripting with Chrome or to use Safari instead, but it would be good to get this resolved. Any thoughts?
Settings Page throws error instead of validating the input

I have data that is start date specific for several types of products. For instance, I have a customer that will begin buying chairs in Dec. another buying chairs starting in January but also buying desks starting in November.
