Can't add a lookup field.
I am on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, using Internet Explorer 8. I have two forms: one for tracking calls, and one for tracking issue types. The issue type form has one no-dupes field in it. Steps: Go to the call form. Drag the Lookup field to the form: Change the label to Issue Type. Import the "Issue" field from the issue type form. Display it as a multi select field. Click Done. The field displays on the form. Click Access This Application. Error: The field is not displayed. * Click Edit This
Problem with javascript and form behaviour
Hi, I have a form with very simple onLoad script: disable fieldname; I had a large script initially but stripped it just one line with no success. Access migration tool: login problem
Hello, I'm a user of Zoho Creator but my Zoho account is linked to a gmail one, so I log in with my gmail credentials. I have had no problem except now when I try to use the Access migration tool to Zoho Creator, when it asks for the username & password, I can't figure out what should them be to let me upload the database. It keeps saying "Username or Password is incorrect". I've tried with my gmail address and putting just gmail username. What options do I have? I have tried to create or associate
Ability to turn on/off specific forms and views for a user based on their answers to a setup questionnaire on first login
Is there a way to provide a setup questionnaire that a user completes in the database, and then have the database automatically turn on/off tabs, forms, and views depending on their answers? Thanks, Jim

Hello, I'm developing a app that will control a small store. My quastion is: I have the tables "Products", "Buy" and "Sell". The last two are related to the product. How do I sum all the records in the tables (Forms in Zoho Creator) "Buy" and "Sell" related to a specific product then I'd have the calcylated fields "TotalSells" and "TotalBuys", the i can calculate the remain in stock using TotalBuys - TotalSells Thanks. Hi I have a form(lets call it Form A) in which a certain value in a dropdown list should activate a popup of a new form(lets call it Form B). This I have done in my application. I have set a user to be a Developer, can he change/add/delete fields in an application that has been shared to him? I thought the "Edit this application" link would show when he logged in, but it doesn't. any help much appreciated David
form design
I love this application so far (after about 10 minutes of tinkering around). I notice however that the actual customization of the form itself is limited. I cant space the fields to my liking or put any other customizations there. The following features would be a great addition: 1.) a 'drawing' toolbar (text label, line, box, circle, etc) 2.) a text formatting toolbar(font size, color, font) 3.) the ability to place the fields anywhere on the form (not just snapping under the field above) thanks,

Hello, I'm developing an app to control a small store. I have the table to registrate de products and other table to register the quantity of "buy" and "sell" movements of the products. How do I do to sum all the "buy" and all the "sell" columns according to a product ID. Then calculate how many items remain in stock calculating total_buy - total_sell of each product in the list. Multiple Selected Bullet Points
Hi First posting, newbie. Is it possible to have a number of bullets (say 10) where the input could be none, or between 1 to 10? I want to create a check list that has say 10 items which if an x or bullet is populated then this would indicate that the item was defective and would require a text field with more details? Set checkbox status On Load
Hi Folks, I have a Form with a checkbox for nine survival equipment options. I have been asked that when the Form loads, that some of these options are checked on by default. Seems a simple request, eh! So far, I have been unable to add a statement to the On Load script that can achieve this. Minimum Date Calculation (Formula)

One Lookup from multiple fields
I have one form with fields for the names of the members of a family: Mothers_Name; Fathers_Name; Sibling1; Sibling2; Sibling3. There is also a field for Family_Id. IE8 warning for HTTPS forms UNRESOLVED!

Success Page after form submission not loading
Hello- currently after a user submits the form. It flashes a Success message very fast, closes the msg by itself, and goes back to the form-leaving users confused if the form actually was submitted properly. I need to have some kind of journal entries, where the classes can be either 30,45 or 60 minutes length. I have a reference table that holds these values (lesson_length). I need an interface on to create a new entry for a lesson. No requester password?
When I create a requester, they receive an invitation. When they click on the link, they are asked to provide a password. There is no password created when the requester is created, nor is there a means to do so. If requesters cannot log in, the app has no use at all.

I have a Zoho application that uses a couple date/time fields, and have the settings of the application set up as New Zealand Standard time, but the "Today" button on the calendar control shows tomorrow's date. This is affecting my application as one of my views was configured to show data from Today. I would appreciate this being looked into. Thanks, Leo Saumure

Advanced techniques for form layouts?
While Zoho is most certainly an excellent product, I am not entirely satisfied with the look of the forms that Zoho helps me generate. I would like to group sets of fields and maybe put a header over them or a border surrounding them, whereas right now all of my fields run together. From reading the documentation, it seems like there is real limited functionality. However I read the code for my form and saw that there is a keyword 'column' that is used to create the two columns. Creator very slow at work, but fine at home
I have a Zoho application that is virtually unusable at work, but seems to work wonderfully when I work from home, and I'm wondering why this would be. Every other webpage that we access from work seems to have no issues, regardless of the fact that they are straight html, asp, or heavy with javascript as Creator is. As I am not a network administrator, are there any Zoho techs who would be able to offer a solution as to why this would be? I don't think it has to do with bandwidth as every other
UPLOAD URLs
I cannot get URLs to upload successfully. I would like to upload URLs with a Title. I have tried from Access, Excel and by pasting, all without success. I can get the URL path to upload so that it works as a functioning URL link, but the "Text to Display" gets lost. Have you any thoughts, tips or suggestions, please?
ZOHO Creator is extremely slow in the last hour !!!
In the last hour, response from ZOHO Creator is extremely slow ... what normally takes 3 to 5 seconds is now taking one to two MINUTES !!! Initially, only Edit Mode was slow ... now both Edit and Run Mode e.g. add a record with two fields (no scripting involved) takes over a minute. Other ZOHO Services (like this Forum) are responding just fine !!! Gaev
Views from multiple forms
Is there a way to make a view that shows data from multiple forms without having to add that data to a form through the use of a lookup field? So if I have forms that have data like this: form 1 ID, Name "1","Jim" form 2 ID, Address "1","123 Main St" I want a view that shows the below without having to add a name lookup field to form 2: ID, Name, Address "1","Jim","123 Main St"
One view that is conditional by user
I have a view I've created of a form. I want to set up the view so it only shows information that has been assigned to the user that is viewing it. I could make a new view for each user, but I have many users. Is there a way to make one view that shows only the information assigned to a user that is conditional upon which user is viewing it?
Form is missing/dissappeared
Need immediate answer: One of my forms has dissappeared from the Forms view. I can still see it in the Live application, but can't edit it. HELP
