Conditional formatting
Hi, I have a spreadsheet with conditional formatting on each cell. I wand to change the cell color as soon as there is a value in the cell. Now all works perfect, except.. when I close the browser and reopen the spreadsheet the conditional formatting is not active anymore. Although the rules are still there. I have to open the conditional formatting dialogue, where I can see all rules and click ok. At this point the conditional formatting gets active. Please help. thanks Ernst
Text color and boldness changes randomly on my spreadsheet
Suddenly my spreadsheet BOLDS random text in a lot of cells on the spreadsheet when only one cell is supposed to be bold. It also randomly changes a lot of cell text color to red when maybe only 1-2 cells are supposed to be red. This just started happening a day or so ago. I will change it back and a minute later it's back to being bold and red again. Any ideas what is causing this?
Which browser is best for Zoho sheets?
I've been using zoho sheets for a few months now and the past few weeks, it has appeared much less stable. Sometimes my document won't load after I select it. Other times, it locks up every few minutes as I'm trying to enter my data. I'm on Win 7 and have tried many browsers including Chrome, Opera, IE, Firefox. IE seems to be the most stable at the moment. I'm not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? I only have one file in sheets.
embedded sheet - no saving?
hi, when i embed a zoho sheet using an iframe, my changes that i make are not saved in zoho! is this normal? do i have to check a checkbox somewhere? cheers!
Adding documents to rows ?
Hi, I would like to know whether Zoho Docs has the option of addings attachments to rows similar to what smartsheet has ? If not, is there any plans for it's implementation. This is very important deal breaker for us. BR - BM

Hi, I develop a site for my virtual business company usable in Microsoft Flightsimulator X (FSX). It have a full automatic assignment/job-generator based on the ZOHO spreadsheet-system in the background of my site. It works great as random-job-generator. But it re-fresh every time somebody visit the page. That's of course the standard/basic way of spreadsheets, how it work, to my thought. Macro to send email with button push
Hi, Would like to know if it's possible to send an email notification through a Macro instead of the notification tool on a spreadsheet. My spreadsheet is such that when the user completes a task line, i would like the task line to be emailed to an individual. Also, if a cell is changed, would like the email automatically generated. I have the code to do this in Excel, but it doesn't work in Zoho. Thanks! :)
Inporting images from spreadsheet
Hi all, I am new here so be gentle. Here is my problem and I am sure I am doing something silly but I just cannot sort it.My website company exports all the products and info into a zoho tsv file which is ok but I don't seem to be able to inport back the images to the site from the sheet. The images are on an external server and I have attached a screenshot of what I am trying to inport. I am sure this should work but I cannot sort it so help please, Bob
Zoho Sheets Scripting Limitations..
Does anyone know if the scripting process within Zoho Sheets has the same scripting limitations as the App Scripts Limitation of executing for only 6 minutes? I understand the process needing to make sure its not a rogue process, but if a script is traversing through a spreadsheet it seems that the process would continue to run.
Formula fails to address a range in another sheet
I was experimenting with the following COUNTIF formula which works fine when used on the same sheet; =COUNTIF(B$12:B$10004;A4) However, if I address the same range in another sheet, it fails to return a result, i.e.; =COUNTIF(LOG.B$12:B$10004;A4) What am I doing wrong ?
No touch function for Zoho docs!
Hi, I got a touch screen notebook running Windows 8.1 and found out Zoho docs ( spreadsheet and word ) do not work with touch functions such as scrolling up or down...it's only possible by scroll bar! These days touch screen Windows based devices are getting more and more popular and it's a must for Zoho to improve this point.
Summarizing data in a cell rannge in spreadsheets
Hi, I have a number of spreadsheets under different groups as follows, GroupA Category1 Category2 Category3 GroupB Category1 Category2 Category3 GroupC Category1 Category2 Category3 All these spreadsheets have the same format. My requirement is to get a particular cell range (say A1:B5) from each spreadsheet and display them in a tabular format (column header is the file name, and the rows would be the data in the cell range). I tried Zoho reports, and to create a table I can use only one spreadsheet.
Automatic update in Excel from Zoho Sheet
I need to read a Zoho document on Excel and to have data updated currently. Problem editing cell in Sheets
This may be a basic question: When I double click on a cell to edit its contents, the cursor moves to the end of the text toward the right side. I have encountered a cell that does not behave that way - when I double click on it, the text disappears and the cursor is on the left in what looks like a slightly larger cell covering the text .I am unable to edit the contents of the cell. What is causing this? Thanks.
File menu tab won't stay open

Zoho Spreadsheet, information disappearing from saved files
Hello, I am using Zoho Sheets to edit files stored in Google Drive. Sometimes I am doing something, putting new info to cells, or adding sheets, anything, and then I reopen file ooops my work all gone nowhere. Can that be a problem of Google Drive? Or what to do? I understand when no connection then Zoho tells me - no connection reload, etc But everything looks ok and then boom - do your work again... Sergio.
Import from Zoho Sheet => cannot import formula based Text value properly :)
Hi, I use a sheet on zoho sheet. I have different type of data including formula using IF() or SEARCH() function. These column are never imported correctly when they contain text or reference to another cell. When I export file and then import this file (not using cloud access but from my computer) it works well. What is that not working properly ? I tried a lot of test based on cells format on Zoho sheet and Zoho Report but it does never get correctly these data. Thanks for your help !
Adding a formula to column

Cannot export my sheet
I am trying to export my sheet. When I hit "export as" it says that "This spreadsheet has Pivot Table/Chart. Export not supported for Pivot Table/Chart. \nDo you want to continue?." It then comes out blank if I hit yet. How can I turn off the pivot table/chart so I can export? Thank you

Zoho Sheet Slow
Hello, Today I noticed that when in Zoho Sheet, after every single change, the sheet is saving which is making the entire experiencing slow and time consuming as the entire sheet locks up until the save is complete which takes 5-20 seconds. I know with Google Docs SpreadSheet, it only saves every so often and on exit, maybe you should do something like this as well? Thanks, Mike
Attach button to frozen row
I would like to have a button that runs a macro always available to me on a long spreadsheet. Is there a way to attach this button to a cell on the top row that is already frozen? Thanks
Why does my macro button disappear?
I've created a macro button, and have it sitting over row 3. But it disappears when I freeze rows 1-5. The only solution I've found is to put my button below the frozen rows, but I don't like the way that looks. This will be a shared file and I'd like this button to be above the input area. And I want to have frozen rows so column titles are always visible, no matter how large the file gets. Is there a way to keep the button visible when it's in the frozen row area?
Locking Cells in an Embedded Spreadsheet
Hello, I have locked certain cells in my Zoho spreadsheet that I do not want visitors to my website to be able to edit. However, when I use the embed link to post the spreadsheet on my site all of the cells appear unlocked and editable even though they are locked when I view the sheet in my Zoho account. How do I keep these cells locked on the embedded version of the sheet? Thanks

Requesting a some help to calculate the difference in two times (Trickier than you might think)
I'm trying to create a cell where I can track the elapsed time since an entry was created. This will explain more: <Start time> <Elapsed time> <whatever> The <Elapsed time> cell will be the difference between the current time and the <start time>. It should update with each second essentially, as current time does as well. Does anyone know if this is possible with zoho docs?
Sheet does not unzoom/zoom

Problem saving/copying spreadsheets
Hi When I want to copy a spreadsheet within zohodocs (right-click->Copy), I can select a destination folder but the target file never appears in my selected folder. Probably related, when I create a new spreadsheet, give it a name (File->Rename..) it also does not show up in my folder. Copying another file type (.jpg) works as expected. Zoho Writer Problems
Hello, I have read posts since 2012 claiming that Zoho has been working on the data input feature via iPad for Zoho Reports and Zoho Docs. Is Zoho actually working on this or just saying they are? Seems to be taking a very long time to get it implemented. In the mean time I am forced to use Zoho Writer to input data with the the iPad. Can't Open All My Zoho Sheets

Hyperlinks in my Zoho and/or excel file are deleted
I just began using Zoho, very intriguing services! My goal is to embed a spreadsheet, or publish named ranges, in a webpage and I'm uncertain about a few issues. I have hyperlinks in my Excel spreadsheet. When I upload the file to Zoho, they are deleted even though the cell still indicates there is a hyperlink (the text/numbers in the cell are still underlined). why is my thousand separator shown as dot rather than comma
in the zoho spreadsheet, the thousand separator is shown as dot rather than comma and the decimal separator is shown as comma rather than dot. Much like the german number format. however, I reside in Malaysia and the number format is like the commonwealth style where the thousand separator is comma and the decimal separator is dot. Mail merge to a Spreadsheet from Zoho CRM and make available as a template in Zoho CRM
Client wants to use a spreadsheet that will mail merge name address and some other fields to it from Zoho CRM. Is this possible? I can't seem to find instructions or information on how to mail merge it. They will also use it repetitively as a template so it will need to be accessible on any client. Thanks for the assistance.
