Field Names on Pivot Chart
Is there a way to hide all the field names on the left and bottom? Being able to name them would be better.
Show Only Reports
I need a way to show only the pivot tables, reports, etc when I publish to my web page. Right now all the tabs/sheets can be seen including the raw data. Is there a solution for this? Can I have one spreadsheet file with the raw data and link to another to create the pivot tables, reports, etc for publishing? Thanks for the help.
PUBLIC SHEET
I have linked a sheet to a page of a website I maintain. But anybody can edit my sheet as far as I can see and everybody sees all the menu functions. How do I prevent anybody but me being able to edit my sheet? Urgent please! Thanks for a speedy reply!
Referencing cells from different files (INDIRECT)
Hey, Is there a possibility to reference cells from different files? Let's assume that I have files file1 and file2. On file1 there are cell A1 with number 1 on it. And the same goes for file2 except that the cell A1 contains 2. Your function reference says something about indirect referencing of other files with INDIRECT-function. However when I try to use for example a function "=INDIRECT("file2.Sheet1"&A1)" on some cell in file1 I got the error message #invalid formula!. The intuitive way of "=file2.Sheet1.A1
Bug : changes not saved consistently.
When I make edits to a sheet I have emailed to myself from the emailed link, even if I've specified read/write permissions when emailing, I often don't see my changes applied when I log in to access my sheet. I have to log in to make sure my changes hold. This means I can't bookmark. Firefox 2.0 on Win XP Pro.
Rows get mis-aligned in Zoho Sheet
I find that often rows get mis-aligned in Zoho Sheet as per the screenshot I've uploaded to the link below. https://anroy.wiki.zoho.com/Cell-Misalignment.html This makes Zoho Sheet very difficult to use and is the main reason I have not yet been able to adopt it for our spreadsheet needs. I can't delete a sheet
I see there the issue came up a few months ago, but maybe it is unresolved. For the life of me, I cannot delete sheets in either IE or FF. I realize right-click is a browser object menu, but there appears to be no menu select equivalent...I just can't delete sheets ?????!!!
Can Sheet get Stock Option Quotes?
Hi, I would like to read updated stock option quotes into Sheet. I recall that this used to be possible. However, recently a new format has been instituted for stock option quotes. For example, the symbol for the Apple April 200 Call is now: APV100417C00200000. I tried entering: =STOCK("APV100417C00200000") but it didn't work. It sent the message "Unable to Fetch". I have listed in Sheet the products that I sell on my website. The style #'s are in the A1, A5, etc. cells, sizes to the right, colors below, in-stock quantities fill in the matrix. I leave a blank row between each matrix. I have a tabbed sheet for each manufacturer. I sell from about 6 to about 30 items per manufacturer. So some of the lists down a sheet are long. I am using Pulish This Range to embed a link to Sheet for each product so my customers will know what is in stock for that product
Deleted Information from Sheet showing up in search?
Question about best practices. I have multiple sheets that I use as templates. I open the sheet, copy it, and then fill in only the changes I want to make before I resave the new sheet. Trouble is it seems that the deleted information shows up in the search.
Formatting
Hi, I know there must be some way of doing this, but we are 4 guys, 3 of which have IT-jobs, and none of us can figure out how to format numbers/decimals. (or any other type, but numbers give us the most problems). When we get to a new row, if we type 5,4 it format is a datetime, if we type 5.4 it thinks it is text, and our auto sum simply won't work, as it changes for every new row... trying to export my entire database using spreadsheet export but apparently it only exports those records on the view (so if you show 100 records only 100 export). Surely there must be another way? I realize you can use csv, but when you have special characters, csv is sometimes a pain... thanks rg

Hello, Thank you for the last information as it almost completely resolved my issues. There is one thing that can make processing my information easier and that is if I could make a whole number derived from more than 1 other cell be displayed as 98.0 rather than 98. Right now I have it worded as Round(Sum(R1/6+S1):1) and most numbers come out as 93.4, 91.5 etc. but other numbers come out as 98. If I could force all sums to be displayed with 1 decimal even if that decimal was 0 it would make this

Trying to link and regularly updated spreadsheet from excel onto Zoho sheets
Hi, I have an excel spreadsheet that has a constantly updated tally. The actual numbers in this tally are actually linked/uploaded from another, more secure excel file that I cannot upload to Zoho. Hi everybody, IMHO when I edit a cell containing a formula, it would be very useful (and usable ) to have the cell involved highlighted with different colors. Example =C3+C1. C3 should be green as well as the C3 cell borders. Same thing for C1...what do you think??

Zoho sheet info showing in a Google search
I recently made a sheet which I made public. I decided to delete this as I could not be sure that the details should be publicly available. The sheet is deleted and no longer exists, however all the details can be seen when searching on google. See for example: search my name "peter walton-jones" and at the bottom of the page is the line from my (now deleted) sheet with my details all showing. How can this be fixed? pete wj

Sharing limited to 20: workaround?
I'm a teacher currently working in China, where Google Docs are often blocked. I'd like to use a Zoho spreadsheet instead, but the limit on sharing with a maximum of 20 people makes Zoho useless to me. Is there any way to expand this limit?
Text cuts off where new cell begins
Please refer to the attachment I included. If you open the spreadsheet in ZOHO, the only words/letters you should see are: Externshi. When I open it in MS excel, where I created it, it says Externship Timesheet. Apparently the letters are getting cut off where the new cell begins, and I don't want this to happen. Is there a way to not have this happen? I tried using some of the options I saw in ZOHO, but nothing seemed to work. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in
Row numbers deeper than the row height
As well as the issue of the out of position rows which others have commented on I find that my row number text size means that they are being obscured by the row below, ie getting cut off at the bottom. Changing the browser text size doesn't seem to affect things. Firefox 3.5 / Linux Any ideas?

How can I reference a cell in a different spreadsheet?

Suppose you have a column of 3 cells, and then a fourth cell that sums the 3. If you move the 3 cells, the reference in the fourth cell to the sum should update to their new location. Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets and Open Office Calc all work this way - Zoho Sheet does not.

Access to restricted IP addresses
I have two queries. 1) If you right click in a cell you get an option of pick from a list. But how to generate a pick list? or where to make entries so that the pick list will be available? 2) We found that after sharing any application of zoho with our team members, we are unable to control their capacity to change/ copy/ share the data from a location other than from office. Spreadsheat does not save or allows concurrent editing
Hi all, I've been experiencing some errors with the spreadsheets, they are as listed: - Does not save automaticly or manually. when multiple users are logged in. - When multiple users are logged in they can see who is on the same spreadsheet, talk to them but are unnable to see changes made by others. Chart Size
Hi- I want to create a series of published charts with a consistent look. However, it seems the look of each chart depends on the size of the chart in the spreadsheet. How do I set the size of each chart using numerical dimensions, instead of dragging the corner with my mouse? Also, is there a way to make the published image independent of the chart size in the sheet?

can't invite; can't save shared sheet
I created a Zoho sheet, saved it, and shared it with one person, read/write setting. I sent an invitation to that person. Clicking on the link in the received invitation, takes you to the sheet but there is no option to save it, even though was shared with read/write permissions. So I tried again, but this time when I send the invitation, the shared user never gets the invitation email. So now I can't invite, and when I do, that shared person can't save their changes. What gives?
