Convert Text To Table functionality ?

New Theme hard to see. We need a choice!
I did not believe the new theme for Zoho Writer was going to be forced upon us. For some reason I thought it would simply be an option. I checked it out, thought it was hard to see (grey on grey really?) and I went back to the other theme. So today I login and there is that horrible grey on grey theme with no way that I can see to change it. Come on... It's not easy to see. If people are working on documents for a long time and navigating around the application needs to be easy to see with no effort

Wordprocessing document - versions and changes
It seems that a new 'version' is created every minute or so that I am editing a document. When I view 'diff' for any of these versions, it then shows me only the changes mage since the last time the system created a new saved version. How do I see all changes made to the document from the beginning of my editing - not just from the last auto-version? I would lie to be able to assign a document to someone and then be able to see all of the changes they make to the document when finished . . . not

Would be great if there was a feature to let users synchronize their online files with a folder in their local computer. Lets say the user specifies a particular folder where all or selected files are automatically synchronized (between the remote and local files) when online. Great stuff though...I have stopped using MS Office totally!
can't merge document - process hangs
can anyone help? i am going live in my company and my boss can't do her mail merge, she tries to and it hangs. We have tried the following: Chrome IE clearing part of cache killing processes with cntrl + alt + delete signing out and in of Zoho CRM shutting down the computer trying to merge a different client note: I logged in on boss' computer with my Zoho login and WAS ABLE TO MAIL MERGE. logged out and logged in again with boss' login and COULD NOT MAIL MERGE. note: merge works on all other computers

Hello, I'm newbie to Zoho and I need to know if there is a way to do subitem numbering, like: 1. Item (Heading 1) 1.1. Subitem (Heading 2) 1.1.1. Subsubitem (Heading 3) 1.1.2. X 1.2. Y etc This is really important to me, since I'm a university professor and need to write some academic style documents in a collaborative way. I'm running away from Google Docs specifically because it lacks this feature. Furthermore, the TOC in Zoho is better, but it would be nice to get more control over its layout

Publishing a document 'by' whom??
When I publish a document and view it via a browser using the URL the document title is displayed above the document together with the word 'by', however after by is blank and I cannot figure out how to insert my name for the purposes of appearing above the document in the published mode.
Formatting in Footers not Sticking
I have a number of mail merge templates with headers and footers. Both the header and footer have just an image in them, the header seems fine but I am having issues with the footer. I set the footer up and save it, when I print/pdf export it the footer is riding up the page by several CM's making it look ugly. When I go back into the editor there are extra blank lines, I remove them and save again but the issue persists. I have also changed the wrapping on the Image but when I go back in the wrapping

Links don´t show when embedding in html site
Hi, i am embedding text from zoho writer in my html site. Everything works fine, but the links i create in the writer dont appear as links in my web. They work in the writer but not in the web - checking the source code it has no <a href="....> tag, so its impossible that it works of course. I have tried writting the link in html in the writer but it doesnt work either... Is there a way? Thanks Jaime

v.2 restored documents empty
I have a few documents from the old version of Zoho that have been in my Trash folder for a long time. I recently wanted to restore a few of them, but when I open them, they are completely blank! They have the right title and all, the (approximately) right date, but there is just nothing in them. I restored a more recently deleted document and it was fine, with all the content preserved. I've had a lot of trouble with documents created in the old version, and I would love it if this issue was fixed.
RTF document question
Zoho Team, First; let me say thank you for your fantastic product. I have two related questions about a document that is stored on Box.com that is "auto-magicly" edited in Zoho when I select "Edit" when on Box.com Question #1 I have an rtf format document stored on box.com. When viewed online @ box.com the page background color is displayed as white (it is actually green-ish). Zoho displays the greenish page background color correctly. I'm curious- what does Zoho do to get it right that Box doesn't?

CRM Merge Template Footers misbehaving
I have a set of Mail Merge Templates with Headers and Footers, the Footers will not hold their format after being saved. The issue is 'extra' blank lines appearing which pushes the Footer up the page leaving space below the footer image which looks ugly. I can edit the lines out, click save come out of the template and go back in and the lines are back. I have also tried changing the wrapping on the image from Inline to InFront again it seems to work, I save it and come back and the image is back

I am a graduate student and many times you will have 5+ people editing a single paper and making changes before submitting it for publication. This is an awesome tool, the only thing I would change if I had access to the code would be to have a typing notification come up when someone other than you in the group is typing. Similar to MSN chat, that way when the typing document is done I can refresh to make sure I have the latest copy of the document. This could be a very powerful tool for paper editing

Is there a feature already which would let me know when someone else - with whom I've shared a document in Writer - makes some changes? If not, it would be good to be sent a little alert (email or RSS) when this happens, so you can keep an eye on the improvements that others are making on your original text.

When I go to the "embed the web" tab and click the link to embed Zoho Writer, it asks for an embed code, and says that I can navigate to the Zoho website to find it. Hello, im using the Remote API to save my Documents. With Zoho Sheet and Show there is no problem saving a Document. But Zoho Writer always throws the Error 1891 "Invalid URL" while saving, although it uses the same save.php like Sheet and Show. Extra spaces inserted into text after cut-and-pasting

Hello, I opened a document in Zoho Writer from my Zoho Projects account and I have added comments into the document. But after one of my colleagues opened and closed the document in zoho writer, all my comments are disappeared. Same with my colleague, when he adds a comment, it disappear after I open the document. Cannot open edit merge document pop up.
On my colleagues machine you press merge document field, edit document and it opens in a new window. my login is setup exactly the same as his, with the same permissions, etc, but when i press edit merge document , nothing happens, it just sits saying merging template, no pop up window. I have loged in as him on my machine and it all works fine, it is just relating to my login, not browser settings. can you help.
can't do the basics
Hi, I've written a very short document as a trial. I've named it and saved it. Now I want to see if I can create a folder, name it, and move my document into it as a file. The instructions say to go to the document list and check the box of the file I've selected. Then click on Personal Folders and drag and drop the file accordingly. I don't seem to have a document list and when I retrieve my solitary file it doesn't come with a check box. I also cannot find any mention of Personal Folders on

How to tell with whom have I shared?
I'm new to Zoho and was just wondering how can I tell with whom I have shared a document? I don't see a way to get a list of individuals with whom I have shared a certain document.
