Size of imported documents
When clicking to import a document, it appears the information that its size should be 10 MB or less. So I tried it with a document with a size of about 2,5 MB (word.doc, only plain text, no images at all, no formatting). The system could not manage it: not only uploading was very slow but also it was not able to save the document. Finally I stopped the procedure and deleted the document. :? So why writing about 10 MB (or less), when the system is not even able to handle a document with 2,5 MB??

Hello, I've been searching the forums for clues on how to do this, but no luck so far: 1) Using the REMOTE API for Writer, is it possible to select the language for the Zoho interface? Collaborative Editing
When editing a document in collaboration with other people, each one has a paragraph locked (marked in their own color). Other people are not able to edit a paragraph while other is working on it. I think that the background color is quite good to know where other people is editing, but there should be the chance to edit the same paragraph at the same time. It is more relevant when the main author starts the document from copy&paste, because no one can edit it later if the author does not break it

remote API - session data not available for saveurl
I am using Zoho remote API in one of my web projects. The PHP script handling saveurl does session check for authorized users. But the API does not seem to post the session information to my remote server. I even tried appending PHPSESSID=..... to the saveurl specified in the initial editor form but it does not do anything either. Hi, I've seen inconsistent information in the documentation regarding what file formats are supported in the writer remote API. For instance, PDF has been listed, but I don't believe it is truly supported. Also, I think some .doc files don't quite work. Spaces between words disappear
Whenever I import a document (Word-doc) or whenever I copy and paste some text from such a document, there are a lot of lines (perhaps every 4th or 5th) in which the spaces between the words disappear. Remote API json response available?
Hi, I'm currently using the remote API to load a document in Zoho Writer and then have Writer save it back to my server. It's working great except that when I launch the writer, it is taking over the screen I was in, and then there is no way back to my application. Deleting of documents does not work
The more I deal with the Zoho Writer programm, the more problems I see even with the most basic functions: Deleting of documents sometimes works, somtimes it does not. Just now I tried to delete some documents: for 2 or 3 of them it worked, for another one (completely the same structure) it does not. I click the delete-button again and again, but the document is not transferred to the trash.
Offline Mode
I am unable to find my documents in the offline mode. I have 2 while online, when I push the offline it says it is downloading two documents then goes to offline mode. On the left it does not show a 2 count nor can I get it to show my documents glpelletie

ZOHO Docs--save in folder?
I am trying to organize my files in ZOHO Docs. I can create new folders. But I cannot save files in those folders. I tried the Move command and it is grayed out. I tried dragging and dropping and there is no functionality. I tried tagging and ZOHO doesn't remember my tags. Is this app non-functional? Not like my other experiences with ZOHO. David Huston
Firefox compatibility problem - Keybord inactive
Hi, We are Zoho Business users, we notice a problem with Firefox (latest version 3.01). On certain PC (not all) when somebody try to open a doc, keyboard seen to be inactive and it is impossible to modify anything. In this case, Button on Writer menu bar is always working correctly. We have noticed this problem on Windows and Linux. I have tried with IE, safari and Opera it is OK. Are you aware about this problem? Regards

Hi, 1) I am writing a document in Writer, but it seems I cannot use the Tab key to move a block of text; 2) "Public Docs (0)" should mean (I guess) that no documents have been made public, but under that section I can see a document I have recently imported even though I have not selected that document for any sharing or publishing, please see attachment. About the language
There are two kinds of Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. We use Traditional Chinese. But the Zoho Web site show us the Simplified Chinese by default. Can it be modified? xfre

unable to import content
I am using Remote API to access Zoho writer. But when I try to open the url at : export.writer.zoho.com/remotedoc.im?apikey=[key]&output=editor, I get the error: unable to import content. The code was working fine, few days back, but now same code is throwing this error.
I cant Click on ANYTHING in zoho writer. nothing reacts.
Im trying to import documents so i can view them on my iPhone. When i click on Import nothing happens. So i tried the delete button. Nothing. So then i tried clicking on EVERYTHING on the page. It lets me enter text to create a new doc. it also lets me click on My account (links across the top towards the left) and i can also click on the Feeds link. Other than that. No other link works. Is there something wrong with my configuration?? I tried opening the site up in Safari and in Internet Explorer.

I still have a problem with the summary view boxes that are being brought over from Zoho DB & Rep. I think it would be better if you provide offline for more than one account. Now for accessing offline you are providing url as http://writer.zoho.com/offline, instead you can append the username at the end as http://writer.zoho.com/offline/username and can give access to more than one accounts. maheshnaginen

Dear Support Currently users of shared documents can only see the document and a print preview? I have a shared document that a secretary needs to look at weekly, convert to a file (say pdf) that can be shared and then email to various managers. Footnotes print wrong
I have a small document with a few footnotes. They work fine in editing mode and in Page View. However, when I try to print from Page View mode, the resulting PDF (which strangely is not the same as what Page View actually shows me) is screwy. Some of the footnotes show up on the wrong page and printed over top of the regular text instead of under it. Mike

Dear Support I am finding it hard in writer to edit reports with embedded summary views from DB and Reports. Often when I try to delete these reports the delete command skips the table and deletes text beyond the table to be deleted. Could you please look into this. Thanks Peter moanazoho
