Organizing Files
Great product/service, but how can I better organize my files. A fancy filing system would be nice, but at a minimum I find myself looking for a way to create my own subfolders, but the only new function I see simply creates a new file. This means I can only have a dozen or so files before they get cluttered. Was this the intention? Is there a way to organize? paulemean

I love your format and switched to it from Google Docs. But after losing all my edits/history from 6/5 & 6/6, I sadly went back to GDocs. What happened? I would love to use your app, but can't tolerate such losses. Without an explanation, I can't trust Zoho and I'll have to warn my friends away after having recommended it to them. Logins w/o email addresses
Is it possible to create a user with out giving an email address and make them a member of my group. This will allow my kids to use the account w/o having to give out their email addresses which will not happen under any circumstances. xftnfnb

At 9:30pm today I lost all of today's saved versions of a document I've been adding to in increments since this morning. I just created another test file, and this is being saved correctly, even after logging out without saving the file. Was there a server disruption? Or did I find a way to accidentally delete one day's versions with a stray keystroke? -Angelika angelika.bz

Unbelievable...I am very much impressed by the tools; and that too, Free????!!!! I have a quick suggestion though: When a user tries to 'switch to' another product, the new product always opens in a new web window; instead, if you an option to open in a 'new tab' especially for the latest browsers, it will be helpful. Other way to implement this logic is to check for the latest broswers that support multi-tab browsing, and automatically change the links to open in the new tab. If any user uses the
Edit in page view mode
It would be really really helpful if it were possible to edit documents in the page view mode. This would give users a better idea of positioning text and graphics on the page. dniezb

Some bugs : Footnotes and justified text
I really appreciate the online service offered by Zoho, but I noticed some very annoying things: - Not all footnotes appear when text is exported in PDF: only the numbers of the notes appear at the bottom of the page, and sometines, not in the good order (number 9 follows number 11 for example). - The text stops anywhere in the page, sometines, at the middle with a huge blank part. - For some pages, there's just one word on the last line of the page, and, in any case, last lines are never justified.

"Drafting mode"
Hi guys, love the webapp so far but just something I'd love to see is a simplified, no frills and easily full-screenable drafting mode. I'm thinking of programs like Q10 and the online typewriter (http://writer.bighugelabs.com/). I've found these incredibly helpful in shutting out distractions when drafting. Would love to see this feature in Zoho/ rahul.melbourn

Today I have seen in lifehacke that we can use google Id to login into zoho. This is a very good feature. Can I import documents from google documents ?

Dear Developers: Thanks for such a great product. As a university math professor I will be interested in a shared document software that allows students to enter hand written solutions to math problems in a communal document. Some wikis offer LaTeX support which is good for professional level mathematicians but not appropriate for the majority of students. Thanks again.

I just signed up with Zohowriter. I am an engineer, and I need something like the equation editor in MSWORD--I need to be able to generate equations, and I need to be able to import documents that have equations generated with equation editor. What are my options? Thanks
won't work on iPhone
I've tried and tried to get this web app to work on my iPhone to no avail. It works wonderfully from my laptop, but as I have Office on that there isn't much point. It really would be cool of someone came up with an Office-like program for the iPhone though as there is nothing native for it. please fix this if at all possible. sti.bo

Insert date and insert from contacts
Hi, It would really be nice to have an insert static and variable (changes each time document opens up) date into a document. This is very common in standard business letters. It would also be help to be able to insert name and addresses from contacts or at least making it easy to grab that information with a copy and then paste. Even better add the ability to do a mail merge. Thanks
Right alignment and tabs
I've imported a document that contains a table. I tried to widen a column and right-align some numerics, but couldn't get it to work. I see the <0> symbol, but it doesn't behave the way I would expect. In fact, they did nothing at all unless I clicked the "x", in which case I could never get the column to reappear. Not at all intuitive or helpful. My environment is Mac OS X 10.5.2 in Firefox. bocabo
Emailing documents
I have tried emailing word/html documents for the zoho writer but I've always been unsuccessful. When I click on the import icon, there's something at the bottom of the dialog box wich say to email docs to an id and it will display in zoho writer. I have tried that but none of the docs appear in zoho writer. Is there any other way to do it? So, is this system having some fault? thomas.sig
Posting to Blogger Fails
New to ZOHO here but came over because I had read on a competitor's forum that ZOHO is much better for posting to BLOGGER. Since joining a few days ago I have been unable to post - ZOHO returns "an invalid user-name or password" error message. BLOGGER was having problems a couple of days ago and I attributed the problem to that, but it's now up and running fine. I can log into the BLOGGER dashboard so I know the user name and password are valid. I can also post to the blog from Writely but ZOHO remains
Integration with CRM
I hope this isn't a repeat request. I can't find it in the forums. I would LOVE to be able to mail merge into a Writer document from within ZohoCRM. Think about the possibilities of customized proposals or agreements. We are a Property Management firm and would benefit from writing Leases and Management Agreements based on leads' contact info... fonts and page brakes
Ive been tyeing to use the zoho write for a while now and although it is much superior to other online application of the same type i found two problems. 1. the lack of any indication to whether the text is at the end of the page (without switching to page preview) it is important if the writer is to be effective for writing documents for print. 2. the lack of a font "David" which is considered the most basic Hebrew font. If I use the API and embed Zoho Writer into my own website, how do I embed custom fonts into Zoho Writer?
problem inserting style
This is probably me doing something incorrectly rather than a bug. I click the toggle-HTML button then click Styles and then insert the following: .onex{ font-size:20pt; } .twox{ font-size:30pt; } .threex{ font-size:40pt; } Then i click Save. Then I click the --Style-- drop down menu and I do not see onex or twox or threex in the list of styles. What am I doing wrong?
