It would be nice, if one could insert a footnote and have it appear automatically at the bottom of the page, as with MSW. Other than inserting a suerscript and manually typing the footnote, is there any way to do it?

Sirs: From a UI perspective, having my documents on the left side, like most websites, assumes the most important function I am working on is searching for documents, which is true for most websites, but not true for most types of office tasks. I went offline with a test document but would like to know how to launch Writer after closing my browser so i can continue to work on the document offline.
Importing Fonts
I read an answer about importing fonts to ZOHO Writer but I don't know enough about CSS. Is there a place with detailed instructions I can go to in order to accomplish importing fonts?

Hi. I have word templates that have our business logo and details on. When importing them there are no details and no logo. I have also found in Mail that I can't use my customised stationery which is essential in keeping my corporate identity uniform. Any suggestions? I look forward to your response. Folder Dashboard - Sizing

What is the "tags-as-folder" concept in Writer?
Folks, Organizing your documents in Zoho Writer has become much easier with the "Tags-as-Folder" feature. Tags are keywords, terms or categories you create that allows you to organize multiple documents by project names, date, subjects, business or anything else you can imagine. Click on tags icon, present at the extreme-right of Zoho Writer editor's status bar, and enter the tags of your choice in the resultant dialog box. To add a particular tag as folder, do a mouse left-click on the tag name

Here is a way to make taging a little quicker. You click on the blue tag button and up comes a box where you can type in the tag. The shortcut is that if you left-click on the box, up comes a list of the tags you have already made for various docs, and you can select one to go in the box instead of having to type it out.

Cut & paste from MS Word
If I Cut & Paste from an external Word document, all the formatting comes with it, and it seems impossible to get rid of it from the Edit screen. Going into the HTML and removing the tags is a hassle, and not something I would be able to get some collaborators to do. (I'm not an HTML expert, and my collaborators even less so.) when I save a doc in Cyrillic I always see Word Count: 0
Actually I describe already the issue in the subject. When I save a document in Cyrillic I always see the message Word Count: 0 words 0 characters that is not very correct.
Can't use backspace or delete

Font bug in Korean -> 한국어
There is a problem when writing in korean in zoho writer. The main text seems to show fine in korean, but the subject becomes broken and written in some weird code (if u know what i mean) I think, actually i'm pretty sure it's just an encoding problem with UTF-8 or UTF-kr (korean font support) when being passed on to the server side or something. I'm wondering if there's anybody who solved it, or does the program need changing? Looking forward to answers~ ciao~

the blinking cursor can be moved around the screen with mouse clicks, but there is no response from the keyboard until i press the "return" key. is this right? did i just miss this in reading the tutorial. thanks for any insight. nickd3ps

Zoho Toolbar
Why not a toolbar for Zoho? It would be great if Zoho releases a Toolbar(for FireFox/IE). Here are some few options to add in Zoho Toolbar: 1.New->Text Document,SpreadSheet,Presentation,etc.. 2.Services->Writer,Sheet,Show,etc.. 3.Recent Items QuickRead is really a very helpful tool. History
History and versioning are seriously broken for me. For instance, as you can see by looking at it, my file STRAUSS LOG has entries every day or two for three weeks until a few days ago, but when I hit History, I get only one version that is 25 days old. Or my file GEN_NOTES2, which I have been making entries to every few days up through yesterday. It has lots of versions, but the most recent is 16 days ago. I have looked at History for a lot of other files, I don't think I have found a single one
Lost changes

tabs in Firefox
I tried Writer in several tabs in Firefox. To open a doc in a new tab it didn't work to right-click Open Link in New Tab, but it did work to ctrl-T to open a new tab, then key in Zoho.com and go to Writer, and then open the new doc. Also the type is not as dark and clear. Otherwise things seem to work fine.
Support for .docx and 'ink' for tablet pcs'
I have found very poor support for the digital ink capabilities for the tablet pcs. My school uses the tablet pc and MS word for tablets. The ink is really nice to use, especially in calculating. It would be great in improve the recognition of this in writer and hence the wiki. The wiki is a great teaching tool. But the difficulties for the students to import the digital ink is preventing full adoption of zoho applications. Just thought I'd let you know. I don't expect you to be able to solve this
RemoteAPI: Save URL isn't called
Hi folks, i am using the remote api of the zoho project for about 1/2 a year now, and everything worked fine. but since the laste days i am running into a problem that my 'saveurl' given in den Remote-Api-Url to ZOHO Writer isn't called, when i press "save". this worked before and i haven't changed a thing (i swear:-)) the document is loaded in the writer application. but when i press "save" nothing is saved as the 'saveurl' param is somehow ignored. here is the code i'm using (the urls are not the
Desktop App for offline work.
You may already be looking at this but I would like to recommend it if not. I would very much like to have an syncronizable desktop version of the ZOHO apps - primarily writer, sheet first with others to follow that would allow those of us on the road to work offline. It would be able to edit or created docs while traveling and when back online an automatic sync would occur. This is the only thing that stops me from migrating completely to ZOHO office products. I cant create a new document

Losing formatting when I import

Writer not synching with notebooks
The changes in my writer doc are not showing up in notebook. Furthermore, there seems to be some UI inconsistencies between sheet and writer and show... displaying tabs for templates and chat and switchto are handled differently. I am curious as to how to correctly update the version as exposed by the api call in: http://writer.zoho.com/public/help/postsavedoc/fullpage At first glance I thought this was similar to the "upload document" functionality in that a document could be uploaded to replace the version. Hi, i would like to use phonetic typing(unicode). this can be easily done via simple java script code. is there anyway you could support this by adding a button in the zoho writer and provide user a way to map keystrokes to equivalent unicode character? i prefer to have this feature in Zoho Creator as well. thanks, Sasi

MS Office Plugins: Login failed
I registered for an Zoho Account a few days ago. Today I install the Zoho Plugins f�r MS-Word and Excel (Office 2003). Login access failed ("Authentication Failed. Storage & Flexibility
I am aware that Zoho is linked up with storage people like Omnidrive and Box.net. However, the interface they link to is not complete... you can't post to your blog through that zoho interface (it kept failing on me) and I would assume other zoho features would be in-active. So I am wondering how much 'storage' is available with zoho when not using one of those storage services... is there a gb of space already available at zoho for the average registeree? Also... are there limits on things? Like
