Can't 'Move" Documents
I have created several Writer documents and went to move them to folders to organize things and they won't move. There is a hesitation but no error message and they don't move. I'm using the drop menu by the document title and it lists the folder I want it to go to. :?:
Printing problems
Hi, I am having problems printing out my document. When I print, the whole doc does not fit (width) on to the paper. Any Ideas.. Please Help.. I am using windows xp pro.
lengthening the zohowriter page
Usually the browser allows you to see the screen in the full monitor screen, or else as a small window that has adjustable corners and sides. In zohowriter, that doesn't seem to be the case. I want to see more of the page I am working on. I try F11, and that gives me more room at the bottom, but the zohowriter window is not adjustable in length. Any suggestions? stedawa
Margins
What is the equivalent to MS Word margin of 1 inch in Soho Writer which uses PX as a margin. When I export to MS Word the margins are messed up.

Firefox reversibility 2.0.0.7 in writer
1. If one looks at the view source in writer there is javascript code AFTER the end html tag.. is this on purpose? 2. In Firefox, if one selects a number of lines of text (with end of lines) and presses center, it centers. However pressing the Left align button only affects the first line. Internet Explorer 6 doesnt have this problem. The same behavior is seen in Google doc writer so this is likely a browser bug. Same issue for Underline (toggling). tags
In the FAQ under "How do I organize my documents in folders?" it says "Tag similar documents and have such a tag added on the left panel by clicking on the particular tag and selecting "Add to left panel" option (having a tag as a folder)." However, the option actually reads "Add as Folder" Also, it would be really, really, really useful if you could search for multiple tags with an inclusive "both/and" for the tags, ie, search for tags that say both "PROJECT" AND "UPDATE" and get every document
Characters appear and are deleted very slowly
Not really a bug, but I find Zoho Writer almost impossible to use because characters appear on the screen so slowly after being typed and backspace-deleting is similar in that characters get deleted at a snail's pace. I very much want to move over from Google Docs, but this makes it difficult. Is this slow speed normal? Is there any way to tweak it? If it is normal, will it be getting faster over the coming months? I'm using Ubuntu + Firefox.
Unable to import content with remote api
I'm able to load files into sheet just fine, but writer doesn't like it for some reason. Maybe it can't handle the large file size? It's about 1m. Characters get inserted into filename
Great product, and potentially very useful. An issue though: I have had characters added to the file name - in the place of spaces between words, it now has "%25252520". This has happened to one of My Docs. Yesterday it happened to a Shared Doc, then it mysteriously came right. Any idea what's happening? I can't find a "Rename" function - is there one (perhaps it would this mess up the collaboration). I'm using IE6.0, though a corporate firewall. Grateful for any advice, thanks.
Printing
I like your online word processor. I can print by first choosing Preview and clicking the print link. I cannot print by clicking the print icon when the document is in edit mode, even if I save it first. I am using Firefox 2 on Mac OS 10.3.9. In Zoho Writer, I have created a table. One of my reviewers placed comments at the beginning of the text in two cells in the left-most column. I am no longer able to edit those two cells and can find no way to delete the comments. Marbux
iZoho Writer Issue

I have found some keyboard shortcuts that are not on the FAQ keyboard shortcuts list. home key - go to begining of line end key - go to end of line shift + home key - highlight from begining of line to cursor shift + end key - highlight from cursor to end of line Perhaps you could add them to the FAQ list. also: what does shift + enter do that enter alone doesn't?

Followup to my recent post on Zohowriter email out. Notice that in the email out confirmation message, there is "Version..." stuck right beside the email address. That would not affect how the email looks, but would affect whether it got there or not. Still riddled by it all. BTW, what is the difference between share and email out? stedawa

I got the message after sending my first post that it had to be verified (before posting to the forum). But when I posted my second posting and went to view it, it was there in the forum. So I am reposting my first posting, as maybe it got lost. Does the first post by a new member have to get screened or verified to jumpstart the posting process? Abbreviations
Hello, I use ZOHO Writer in Danish language. The abbreviation in the menus are really strange. "Mulighed" is "Mulighe" and "Tilbagemelding" is "Tilbagem". This was quite confusing at first and I thought is was typos. If you make abbreviations, I belive you should always do like this: "Tilbagem.." etc. Best regards, KAsper mai

Document lost
This is very urgent. I've been writing for three hours on a document called "EFTA", on my account "zmonteiro" (zefinas@hotmail.com), but when I saved it and opened the "Relat�rio de Est�gio", all my work was lost. I cannot find any of my work on the history of either document, so I have no way to recover the lost text. Printing from Writer
I'm using zoho writer in firefox 2.0.0.7 on Mac OS X 10.4.10. When I press the print button, nothing happens except a javascript error message from firebug. Page view not working
Is Page View not working anymore? Can' t seem to get it working with any of my docs.
import text files
Writer won't import Unix/Linux ascii text files because they don't have an extension at the end. How about having Writer assume that if a file doesn't have an extension it is an ascii text file? At worst once in a while it will import a non-text file and you will get a bunch of unreadable binaries.
tab switch by key
I love the tabs (when I write I usually keep a number of files open and switch back and forth a lot, so the tabs are very convenient). I am wondering if there could be a keyboard shortcut for this.

It'd be great to be able to move and manage files from Zoho Start using checkboxes etc.
Editing
These last couple of weeks I keep losing the ability to edit documents. At first, when I open a doc, everything is OK, but after I've switched to Pageview and then back again, I can't do anything with it. I usually have to sign out and sign back in again. And even that didn't work first time today. It's really frustrating. hliuka

Hi. Whenever I try to export my document, or open it using the Microsoft Word plugin, it is just blank. All the formats do this. It sends a blank document if emailed. Help? Apart from that, great work, guys, this thing is awesome :D

problem making new accounts
Several of our users have had difficulties trying to sign up for a new account. The problem begins when they use short names (like chris or boba). They get an error message that says something like "must use only characters or numbers" (which they did, but I'm guessing the error was generated because the name was too short?). Lack of "Revert" or "Convert to" feature
Hi I'm very much in favour of your project. I am hoping to "sell" the idea to a group of international collaborators to which I belong to. I have been trying out some Word docs (2002/2007) which require various stages of reformatting. When things don't go well, I can use "Undo", but I really miss the ability to "Revert" to the last saved version. Also, and more critically, trying to persuade a group of long time Word users to download a plugin to save their output as ODT is tough. Old habits die
Importing multiple docs
I cannot find any information about uploading multiple documents into Zoho. I have quite a few and doing it one at a time seems like a time sink. Can you offer any help? chrisbush
