I am looking at a new option of CRM for the company I work for and I am specifically looking into Zoho which seems to be a powerful tool (with Zoho One) but there are things we’d like to be sure we can do.
1. I understand that if I import contacts, I can link them to an account (using the field mapping),
But I read that for Many-to-Many associations: "The multi-select look up field can currently be used while individually creating a record. It is not supported for records generated via import."
Does that mean that if I import my data (from Hubspot), I cannot have a contact be linked to different Accounts (companies)? I would need to create that contact manually again to link it to different Accounts (companies)?
2. I’m assuming there is an easy way to link two Accounts (companies) together as Parent / Child. Is there also an option to link two Accounts (companies) as Sister / Brother companies - if they have the same owner? Can we have the same owner or primary contact for two different Accounts (companies)?
3. If we link together / integrate Zoho CRM and Billings, as we manage different memberships paid by various companies:
- Can we easily see the latest payment and the subscriptions they are on in the CRM? As well as the next renewal date?
- if the Parent Account (company) pays for the subscription of the Child Account (company), can this been seen in the record of the Parent and the Child companies? Or will it only be seen in the record of the Parent company? What if the Parent Account subscription is different from the Child company? Or if two Child companies have two different subscriptions?
4. Can I somehow backup or keep the activity/history logged in for a record (Account or Contact), if we want to deactivate, archive or delete that Account or Contact?
5. What is the limit of Contacts and Accounts that can be created, if there are any?
What is the limit of records for a Contact or Account (logged in emails, etc.)?
6. Can we have access in the CRM to a Form that a representative of an Account (company) filled in in Zoho Form?
7. “Limit for Multi-select lookup fields - 2” - Is it per Account / Contact or we can only create 2 Multi-select lookup fields for the whole CRM?
